I was reading in a few threads people complaining about gnr ballads. If you ask me it's the power ballads why I love gnr. One could even argue it's why most people got into gnr. SCOM and patience. If it wasn't for now rain (a top 5 smash hit) (#2 music vid of all time according to MTV). It gave them lots of fame. Why the hate?

As far as gnr songs go it's easily one of the worst. Next to their cover of charles Manson look at your game. Hell the critics probably smirked they were mentioned.

Tommy has had a hell of a career,and for the "haters" our "beloved" duff has always spoken highly of The Replacements. Tummys played in a number of great bands. Mats,soul asylum n gnr. Not a bad resume.

If you havent herd of him you should check him out. Hes played with Jani Lane at age 16, thin lizzy and is now in black label.. Hes a total virtuoso shredder, a lot like Randy and Satch. I couldnt find a good youtube clip but look up his st album on like itunes this kid is awesome...

Well his sub bass is still better than Stuson's mediocre bass playing.

Timmy Stuson has actually been in the Guns N Roses longer than the Duff, his mediocre bass playing has influenced countless handfuls- he deserves respect.

Not to mention good ol tommy has played in two of Minnys best bands, the replacements and soul asylum.....N i do think hes a good bass player....

You know i dug dj ever since i saw him with sixx am the guy can play n write a strong hook. Example(life is beautiful). Itd be nice to hear what hes written. Give the guy a chance. Maybe just maybe itll be as good as izzy n axl were.

Incorrect. Slash came up with some great riffs, solos and whatnot on WOF, which Myles pissed on with his shitty Nickelback-lite lyrics and melodies.

Let me refraze that... Myles singing isnt the problem... The problem is no one is a great song writer. That has been the problem with all of Slash's albums, including the vr and snake pit...The music is solid the lyrics are just always average. Same problem i have with say AC/DC...
