In my perfect workd a double cd. First with bucket fink brain. Second with the current lineup. Yet hell i finally saw them live so im happy.

For me UYI1 N 2 is much better then afd. It sounded like a band that was hitting their groove and came out with something very special, not quite sure what is on this dvd but it looks interesting.

Ya know. I miss robin n bucket too. But quit whining. If dj is gettin axl motivated to record n write n axl digs his stuff this is great for gnr. Dont bash dj til ya hear the stuff hes doing. I was quite impressed by him when i saw him with sixx am n gnr.

By the way i love bucket n robin too But its comparin apples to oranges

sugaraylen , since i dont have alot of time to post a lengthily reply, all i must say is i agree. The Replacements have never gotten their due. They were a very important band. Hell the Goo Goo Dolls, just wanted to be as 'successful' as the replacements in the early days, and look what happened Johnny has even said how without them, rock wouldnt be what it is this was in the mid 90's by the way. But really GNR may have sold more albums, but if you ask me The Replacements were more important to rnr .

I feel they are just talkng bout the live guys as of now. With that they are doing great. Even tho without robin n bucket cd wouldnt have been what it is.

As a long time gnr fan since 99.. I am younger so i could have never seen them with their original line up. I just feel blessed i saw them. They were on fire and tight as hell. Ive seen a ton of shows and this was one of the best ones ever. Three hours of bliss. Would have loved TWAT but that is nitpicking. What ever Axl does next is fine with me because i lived mu ultimate dream seing them and finally hearing/sein November Rain live. So thank you Axl for making my dream a reality

31illusion, In my opinion AFD was mediocre at best. It had 2-3 killer songs and the rest sounded like filler to me. Yet i hope this band just kicks ass and releases something. A dream for me would be hearing more stuff Buckethead shredded on

They were a noshow in 2002. They made it to the show this time. Any issues from the previous no show have been put to rest.

This, is the best post on this topic..... Zakk i like ya dude i do. However I cant stand the pitch/tone of your guitar work, why i've never been a fan. I didnt even like your work with Ozzy who I do like. To me Ozzy has three great albums, and none Zakk play on, if there are any ozzie fans out there check out the disk he did with Jerry Cantrell-Under Cover, decent cover stuff but killer axe work.. But Zakk wont work he cant do Bucketheads/Bumbles work...

I've been going for concerts for many years. I remember back in 08 I saw the Smashing Pumpkins they didnt hit the stage til after 10 and put on an amazing 3 hour set, no one bitched online or anywhere. I find it amusing at best that people are bitching about Axl hitting the stage rather early for him. Do fans not know his shows never start early? Its rock n roll people, it isnt suppose to happen at around 8pm..... Or am I just crazy?

I've been a longtime lurker and fan of GNR. I first herd them when i was 13 back in 99. I herd Sweet Child o Mine on the radio and fell in love. thats one of the main reasons I started playing the 6 string. While never a huge fan of Appetite i liked sweet child n My Michelle but thats bout it. I truly fell in love with gnr when I bought UYI One and Two. The epics November Rain, Estranged were what really made me fall in love. The keys and the solos were amazing. Dont cry is also a runner up for me, the grandiose of the albums were what made me a fan . Chinese Democracy however is where the best of both worlds however come into play with my love for them. The rock of Shacklers or the epic of TWAT is truly amazing. The ax work on the album is truly amazing, while I appreciate what the original guns did, the musicianship on CD is truly wondeful. Weather it be Bucket,bumble,robin or huge, or Fortus its all damn fine. I just love how the album has so many fuckin layers on it. Being a music lover and musician and knowing production and mixing the album has so many layers its a wet dream for me.
