Presales are only a very limited number of seats. They don't have all the good seats for presale, only a certain percentage Get in on the dot at 12pm!

There are some single seats in gold section still available, and for some reason tix went on sale at 9am this morning not 12am as advertised

There fans were a nightmare but they put on a great show, I met them all at Adelaide airport the next day and they were really nice guys.

The Ticketmaster Premium sold out on Monday and that is a selection of the best tickets available at market value (ie. what the scalpers are getting as the price went up!) and for a pre sale there is a selection of all tickets available, good luck as I doubt there's much of a selection left, Showbiz had a good amount then there were 2 pre sales and now the general sale so there may only be a few hundred left and with the amount of people buying online they will be gone within seconds.

It still concerns me that there is so much other stuff going on around the same time, and before also. These many other shows have been advertising and selling tickets for six months or so. It will be very interesting how GnR tickets sell over the next 6 weeks.

I was at a cafe today and they had one of the posters up on their wall near the counter. It was just bizzare. It was called the Echidna magic cafe on top of the Mount Gravatt lookout and it's a nice little cafe run to support and benefit Indigenous Australians. So I asked the aboriginal guy behind the counter what was with the GnR tour poster and he said some advertising/promoter group gave it to them to put up. He seemed excited about GnR touring and said he hoped to see them ! It was just so fucking random

I called up showbiz.com.au to ask them why my email ticket receipt has no seat/ or G.A section allocations for the three shows I bought for. They said they don't get it till' later when the promoter gives it to them. I told them that their service was crap - I mean I've paid extra money than the ticketek site tickets to not be told where the G.A section / or seats are (The ticketek tickets clearly specify where you'll be), and they take twice as long to deliver than the ticketek tickets take ! What a load of bullshit !

Anyway, that's the world these days I guess, people ripping off people any chance they get

Showbiz sold actual seats and everyone I know who bought through them has an invoice with actual seat numbers on it.

In 2007 there was a guy at the 2nd Melbourne show with a "Where's Slash" T-Shirt on, he got up on one of the crowd barriers to the side of the pit and Robin waved at him and laughed, he thought he was pretty good and stayed there so Robin opened a bottle of water and emptied it and threw it at him just missing, he then got up and paraded a bit higher so Robin then threw an unopened bottle just flicking the side of his head, he got down pretty quickly after that!

im wanting to know, if there IS a pit at the front (once they open that area up when the main act comes on) wont the people who paid for the gold seats at the front, be pissed off?

They could just get up. Seriously if you actually wanna go to a concert like that and sit whilst being metres away I'd dare suggest that your wasting a good ticket.

And I'd highly doubt theres gonna be ego ramps and what not. That would be ridiculous as I don't think the venue really accommodates it and it'd mean alot of people can't properly lose their shit because of a stage setup

Most people will know they can go down and really the people who stand in the front aren't in anyones way if they do chose to stand at their seat because it is tiered.

There has been catwalks at other shows there and the carols has one every year also so I won't be suprised if there is as Axl loves his catwalk.

They defintely have to let us down the front. Could you imagine a Guns concert with no mosh pit :S ? That would be Melbournes first Guns N' Roses riot right there.

If you don't have Gold or Silver tickets you won't get down the front. If you have front tickets though you can usually go and stand in the Orchestra Pit but it wouldn't suprise me if it's not there for this show and the stage has the 3 catwalks coming off the front, Axl loves his catwalks!

Wonder if the pyro will be there plus the red paper at the end of Paradise City, they have to negotiate with the arena on that but will be disappointing if it's not allowed.

There's been Pyro there at other shows so I don't see any reason why they can't

Sounds to me like he's just saying what he's up to. If it were shows they would have already been announced.

I just met all the guys after they got off their flight from Sydney to Adelaide. All signed my Chinese Democracy LP and Del signed his book, had photos taken with Tommy, Frank, Bumble, DJ and Pitman. Bumblefoot was awesome, Fortus was pretty keen to get in the car so I didn't hassle him but Bumble took the LP to the car and made him sign! lol. Del was happy to see the Language of Fear and showed everyone he had a book, they all just said bullshit you never wrote it! lol

Delta rigs or whatever is on now, finishing their set. We still have another band before Guns. It's 6:30 pm right now. People are still getting in the venue.

It was raining but now it has stopped, although it's still over cast.

Oh no here we go again, the promoter has said Guns would be on at 7.35 local time, that's not gonna happen now is it! lol

Why hasn't anyone asked the question, why did the night start late in the first place?

The media wouldn't answer this because it would really ruin the fact that at the end of the day Guns were 45 minutes later than they should have been after Korn finished and that really doesn't sound like a good story to me as they need 1 person to blame.

The promoter has promised the noise would be done by 10.45 and yet Guns finished within the curfew time of 12pm so I'd like to know what time they were told they had to be on by too.

I went to 3 Metallica shows this tour and the promoter said 9pm yet the times varied between 9.30 and 9.50.

Haha actually I met frank too- Dj was there but I didn't get a chance to meet him. Too good? Bringing a full sized jet to Aus is way too expensive for 4 dates - Axl is probably flying chopper or a small charter to the other dates. He can't fly cattle class, he'd get swamped!

Thought it was great that we made it 15 pages before some moron had to step in. Oh well - see you on your next account, Duke/BBA/whateverthefuckothernameyoucomebackunder - get a life and go annoy someone else.

I have a question in regards to Axl and cattle class, does anyone know of him flying without Beta? If he doesn't then I know he has atleast 1 cattle class flight in Australia!
