Metallica/GN'R would not work these days. Metallica fans would be disruptive during GN'R's set. They are my favorite two bands but some metal heads get restless during ballads & piano solos.

There is a 2 for 1 ticket deal on their Clapham common gig in london. I'd say GN'R are a bigger draw in the UK than aerosmith.

As someone who went to Vegas this time I am of the opinion that the whole band sounded amazing. And I've seen old and new line ups.

The jam before Patience was yesterday. Obviously an impromptu thing as Richard and Bumble were laughing waiting to see Axl's reaction..

Axl said something like Tommy needed tonight off- and however he worded it made it sound like it had been arranged in advance. Was it announced why he did not play golden gods? Axl did mention members were going through personal stuff in revolver interview. But who knows. Pleased it happened I was there.

Worth noteing Bumble seemed a much happier guy when up there with Duff.

Many who didn't even go to the show may disagree with me on this but Axl hit a home run tonight. His vocals were powerful for the entire show and may even give 2006 a run for its money.

Standard setlist but with Used To Love Her and Whole Lotta Rosie added to the mix. Not much else to say about this show actually. Frank and Chris joined Ron and Richard at the front of the stage during the pre Patience jam.

One thing that did annoy me about this show (and surprisingly more so than the wasted off her face woman next to me) were the two people in front of me who paid extra for early access to the venue then spent most of the night texting and checking Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.

Completely agree. Axl was superb last night. I was behind the drunk girl I thought she was going to ruin the gig during the support but when guns were on she was fine. Hoping to be on the rail tonight. I'll certainly not be on the phone. Can't wait.
