Sure! I will be with my gf. Need to book Machu trek soon, I read they ran out of permits early.  But hey, still a year away. Going to Rock in Rio then might as well go to Peru, Bolivia, Argentina. Flight from Philippines to Brasil is 26 hours total... lol. WIll take advantage of SA atleast.

And lets talk about Axl's voice!

Nah, they're always trying to con the tourists.

I was in Rio early this year.  My girlfriend travels to Brazil every year.  Beautiful place, you won't be disappointed.

But Argentina believes it is out of the ordinary because of they have Messi. That's the problem. Football is a team sport. You need the right players in the right positions to do their part. Argentina made it to the final match in 2014 because it was a team effort. And I guess because they have a good manager as well

When you say 'Argentina' you mean the team or the country?  I mean, have you spoken to actual Argentinians?  Because I have and they want him dead.  I think it's easy for non-Argentinians to hate on Messi based on the fact that someone else put him on a pedestal he certainly didn't ask for.  Sure, the guy's performance has been subpar so far, but I put blame, first, on their coach, Sampaoli.

Now that Nigeria won against Iceland, they still have a chance, but I don't think that means anything as they shouldn't make it far from their group phase, IMO.  They need to go back and start over for the next WC.

They are used to it. In 1993 Colombia beat them 5-0  during qualifying for the 1994 WC. In South Africa WC Germany beat them 4-0. In 1958 Sweeden WC they were also elinamted in first round. 2002 WC also eliminated in first round. In 1970, they didn't even qualify for the Mexico WC

I don't think that means they're used to it.  You're talking about decades of history.  It happens to every team in the world.

I sent the link to a friend at work who is in a band and a Gn'R fan... He replied back "Drummer for Foo mops the floor with Frank" lol  I swear on my life that I did not mention the drummer or say anything to instigate that reply either ha.

It's been I don't know how many years since replacement Frank Ferrer was hired to play other people's material for money, so it's pretty normal that when you hear someone other than him on drums you are surprised at how good Gn'R songs actually sound.

I know I was surprised.  At one point I stopped watching the video and just listening to it gave me the feel of "damn! that really sounds great! how is that possible? it's the same Axl, Slash and Duff of the last 5-6 years, oh wait... the drummer, now I know!"  Drums are an essential part of the songs, specially AFD songs.  After listening to these songs for the last 20 years of my life again and again, your ear notices the changes.

    It's just normal.

    Shitty move.

It doesn’t matter what you have between your legs. Leeching on others to me seems absolutely wrong. It’s different if in the relationship there is an agreement and one of the partners supports the other financially. But when the fairy tale is over and it’s time to continue the rest of the road by yourself it seems wrong to demand any sort of compensation.

Law and ethics don’t go hand in hand in this matter.

Paraphrasing ole Billy boy: it’s legal! It’s legal! Yeah, and 50 years ago it was legal to hit your wife with a mop handle.

It was a joke, man.  I forgot I should be extra careful when I post something tongue-in-cheek on this forum.  Sigh.

I am surprised he only makes ~$350,000 a month, or $4.2 million a year. Post taxes he’s probably around $2.5 million. After she gets her share (which may be tax deductible although I think that changed in the new Trump tax plan) and pays child support, maybe he has $1.2 million to $1.5 million a year left.

He wont starve but not what I’d expect for one of the biggest guitar icons in history. He must have other income streams

Let me tell you that he most likely, doesn't.  What you put on your paper when you file for divorce or you do your taxes is what an accountant and lawyer advice you to declare.  Slash is a multi-millionaire rock icon, so he's definitely surrounded by the best accounting and law firms in the U.S.  Now, maybe the law is slightly different in the States and this doesn't apply to them but as far as I'm concerned, in my country it's how things are done.  Legally speaking, he's only forced to declare what he's advised to.  His real income will never be on those papers.

Many of those numbers are impressive (a settlement of around $6 million, $100,000 a month until Perla dies or remarries, $39,000 a month in child support and 1.8% of Slash's income for the kids for the next 18 years), but trust me that if she accepts, that would be a hell of a deal for Slash and his finances.  By law - and I don't think this is fair - Perla deserves much more.

I wouldn't be surprised if Perla responds to his request by saying that he doesn't earn what he says he does and that she wants more money.

  7. Well, contrary to most people's comments here against marriage, I do want to get married.  See, I have money and have worked my ass off to earn it but my girlfriend's father is a millionaire.   You can't compete with that shit.  That man owns almost a state.  I don't even know why his daughter is dating me in the first place lol.

Don't get me wrong, though, I love that woman BUT if we ever get divorced, as much as it would hurt me and break me... I'm getting paid, my man.

  8. Damn, when people are chanting "welcome back!", Axl's facial expressions say it all -- after his very real "thank you."

That's a man who has been through A LOT.  So sad, such a wonderful artist with so much potential, a multi-millionaire who could have had anything or anyone he wanted in life, to see him all broke into pieces like this breaks my heart.
