Back in the day, Axl got NIN to introduce their music to GN'R fans. I think this would be a great way to introduce GN'R music and the best of Chinese Democracy to NIN fans. GN'R could probably get both those bands to open for them and they'd conquer the U.S together.

Now we have concerts in SA, Vegas concerts I think down the line, even Richard is talking about an album that is almost finished.
It's a great time to be a Guns N' Roses fan.

What's on the horizon?

I just heard November Rain on YouTube and Ron adds these sweep picking triads at the end of the song. Sounds fucking amazing. Slash has done some Neo-Classical stuff with Anastasia but does anyone else think Ron could teach him a thing or two to improve the music he makes. Ron's also a good teacher from what I heard on JamPlay.com

What are some bands that succeeded like GN'R after they ended up in the hands of one sole person? I think Pink Floyd is a good example although I haven't followed them really. What are some examples?
How do they compare to GN'R?

Looking back when he was in his prime, he was amazing. Even still, what vocalists do you think are better than Axl (male/female)?
-
They aren't. Most people don't care. I've kind of blocked him out of my mind altogether. I can't be bothered to watch the actual videos of him singing. What are people to expect? Even the cupcakes are gone.

Anyone in the same state as him, that you think he could learn from, and vice versa?
-
I live in the United States so the decision was already made for me.
-
Because they are all out to get him.

I remember when Zakk Wylde mentioned how cool it was to work with him. What are some other examples?
-
I never attended either so I don't know. Hopefully some people have so they can lend their perspective. I remember when 2 quarter could get you coke out a coke machine and when a dime bag was really a dime.
-
Shouldn't he care that his singing is not all that great?
-
Yeah, but I mean after the concert he don't look he smilin'.
-
Doesn't seem like it.

I think it was Merck in 2006 that said something about a Tuesday (or any given Sunday).
I remember there was some talk about "laying some tracks" on FaceBook (I think now that was because Axl had become a model train enthusiast. I really wanted to see what he'd been building in his basement).
On a more serious note, are there other examples where fans have been "led on"?

I think Bumblefoot likes Shacklers because of his playing on it. I'm guessing Dj Ashba really likes Sweet Child o' Mine and This I Love because of the epic solos. I haven't really been paying attention though.
-
This is all just hypothetical, but let's say the band has to fulfill a tour obligation and Axl has to recover his voice and they need to replace him with another singer for a certain amount of time, who would you want and why?

The universe is just a simulation. Money isn't real and neither are we. You don't really have to show up to work tomorrow.
You'll thank me later.

What are some of their best qualities?
-
Both. Either or.Fondest moments for each user or the world in general?

Looking back, what moments will stand the test of time?
If GN'R broke up, do you think CD would get a new cult following by those that missed out?

Think about how popular Buckethead became after he left. Do you think CD would get a new found appreciate by newer fans if the band broke up? How will the public appreciate CD after such an event. Would beautiful masterpieces like Rhiad N' The Bedouins, Sorry, and This I Love finally get some outside recognition and maybe airplay/sales.
