  1. What about Guns 2 Roses? Guns N' Roses is a huge influence on them. and you would see a Axl(pretender) and a Slash(pretender) on the same Stage. :P

  2. if it's 2 hour before the show it's at 18:00, the doors open at 18:30! ( http://www.ahoy.nl/agenda/GunsNRoses-4jun12 (Livenation site still says: TBD, http://www.livenation.nl/artist/guns-n-roses-tickets) ) and we get early access... I hope it's a bit more than 2 hour before the show(or the doors go open later), 2,5 hours before the show would be great, I guess

I'm sure I read on the GNR website that it's 2 hours before the doors open, not the show (how could they know when that will start? :shrugs:

I would love to know how long you get with the band members.

Thank you, I just checked it, it says: VIP events generally take place 2 hours before the listed concert door time. I'm also curious how much time we get with the members, I hope It's a pretty decent time, paid €200 for this, it better be worth it!

Thanks for checking. Did you order from the GNR website? Did you have to pay much for postage for the other stuff that's included? As it's from the US I thought I would get stung for that.

I haven't paid to upgrade to VIP yet but I'm sure I will anyway! I've just got to get to the front! Plus I think it would be really cool to meet some of the band.

I ordered trough the GN'R website, Nothing will be send to you, so no shipping cost, you will be picking up everything at the venue, you will need to fill in your name and show your ID when picking up your stuff (I think it will be smart if you printed the included receipt and brought it with you).

  4. I really don't know how many people are going VIP, there are 5 that I know thus far.

You can read in your confirmation that you have to bring with you that the m&g starts about 2 hours before the show.

But the exact times etc will be announced around 48? hours before the show.

Thank you, I bought the VIP ticket (kinda accidently, PayPal was going faster than I thought) but can't wait!

  5. I tuned in a bout 2:30 A.M. half an hour before it started(I'm fucking crazy I know) and he did a couple off test runs, if the sound was good... he can't wait to see Marilyn Manson, Slash, Black Veil Brides on the golden gods awards(Sixx: A.M. plays there to)

some off his music in his iPod Elvis Presley, Danny Elfman, Neil Diamond, John Williams, Nightmare For Christmas, Little Blood Hound Gang, and more. he wants to do a orchestra christmas album with heavy guitars.

he had a cartoon in the newspaper named: Beyond Hope

his ritual before a show is just sit back and relax

he talked a bout alot more!

you can watch it back here(for 24h): http://www.livestream.com/djashba/video?clipId=pla_00b6fb84-df3a-47d8-8243-8df2063a02b9 (I'm gonna put it on youtube to. here it is:

  6. Wtf I just checked to see if my stuff was shipped and they moved the date from 3/15/12 intill 4/20/12 I'm gettin pissed man.

yeah, about your stuff.... soon is the word!

  7. Go to around 6.30 of the interview. I hate to pick out like this but I honestly just couldn't take it. He talks about how his first guitar had one volume knob, he had avoided playing Les Pauls for a long time because he got confused by the volume controls. When Gibson built a guitar for him he asked for one volume knob to simplify it. Please just go and watch it. I'm sorry, that was too much.

TBH, I also prefer a guitar with a single knob, it simplifies it all. That was the concept behind the frankenstein and the super strats from the 80's and 90's (they had a brief revival there). I would rather have a single concentric knob (Bottom = volume, top = tone). I never liked too many knobs on my axe, in order to avoid it and still have all the functions I like, coil tap (push-pull) and killswitchin (LP's do that by lowering the volume on one of the dedicated pots and by flicking the pup selector afterwards). on it, I would rather have a real KS button and the On-Off-Tap setup from Robin's sig guitar or an SD triple shot.

Jerry Cantrell, from ALice In Chains, also favors the one volume pot setup and he's one of the greatest guitar players ever.

I also like the single volume knob alot, I always turn the wrong knob :). I might make these changes to my guitar aswell, I would like a KS, one volume knob, two tone and a three way switch in the place of the volume knob. just makes more sense to me!

you guys like traditional Les Paul's? don't change up your's! Dj Likes it this way, he does what he wants

And BTW have you guys seen buckethead's guitars? 1 Volume, 1 Tone, a three switch on the bottom, and 2 killswitches. he simplified it too!
