I mean, wow.
I just got a call from the Hard Rock. My mic is being mailed to me from directly from GnR. Clay Hudson, I love you!
I honestly am overcome with emotion. Amazingly, I was in the car with the friend who's mic this is when I got the call. I was on the phone with my dad, who is also currently in the hospital after having, and on my life I am not making this up, his 7th heart attack, and was able to hear the voicemail at the same time as my friend.
We both completely lost it. I can't believe it. Amazing!

I want to send a thank you that I'm not really sure how to express in words to someone I know from 2 emails, and 2 emails only, Jarmo, who clearly did something to pull this off for me. I don't know you, but man, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I needed this right now. You are awesome!

I just got a message back from Bumble!!
just sent a 5th or 6th letter to 'management' saying *again* that we need to talk to security about them mistreating the fans. I've been trying to make things better' date=' from meet-n-greet scheduling to allowing signs & banners, been feeling like a union rep for fans, lol, but it's gotta be done. I didn't agree to have 9-year-old girls have their 'happy birthday' signs confiscated - see why I lose my shit?? lol All I can say is *I tried* and if fans continue to be mistreated it's not coming from Axl & the band.[/quote']I'm sorry he can't do anything for you... but the band knows this is going on, hope Bumble can accomplish something!

I am about to place another, slighly less polite call to The Hard Rock right now, and basically every day going forward until they either A. Specifically state who the fuck gave this order or B. Give my friend the fucking mic back.
I've got nothing but time right now, and I am going to make this as unpleasant for them as humanly possible.
They screwed with the wrong guy, and at the ABSOLUTE worst possible time in his life to screw with him.
Let us know what comes out of it, they just stole the mic!

I was right at the front when Axl threw the mic. Security were looking for it the second he threw it and a bunch gathered to point out where it went through the crowd before hopping the fence and storming after you guys-saw the whole thing. I've been to a dozen GNR shows and never seen that. Seemed like security were acting on their own. You should reach out to Fernando or one of the more responsive band members on Twitter or something to make them aware if your plight - cant hurt.
Dude. Thank God someone else saw this go down. I actually saw the guy that took it from us flash it to another guy on stage right after he took it from us.
I also do not have a twitter account and have pledged to never have one, but this may call for an account, if only for this one time use.

When Axl threw the mic at me, and I got (I was front row), one guy of the video crew and one of the security guys congratulated me. Nobody wanted to take it from, except the guy next to me(I had to wrestle over it), but Axl pointed at me, that it was for me, and one of the security guys instructed the guy to give it to me...
Within 5 seconds of possessing it I had grand, glorious ideas. Picture a shadow box with pics of the show and the ticket stubs. I assure you, it wasn't going to just sit in a drawer somewhere.I'm sorry dude, I will just leave this here:

Mind you, this thing isn't even for me. I am a 'Big' GnR fan. I know every song and probably 75% of the lyrics. My buddy that whipped out $100 in less than a second is an OCD level fan. We used to start every night back in college with a shot dedicated to W. Axl Rose. I assure you, this wasn't taken away from a casual fan. This was taken away from a guy that's married with 2 kids and still dragged me to 3 of the 4 Hammerstein shows in 2006, every MSG show the last decade, and who even left an office dinner to go to the show at Izod monhs ago. His fucking wife got hit with a folding chair at the show in Philly when Axl didn't show up. He was at the 1st NYE show in Vegas a decade ago and spent like $700 on each ticket.
In short, he fucking EARNED that mic, and the happiness he felt when he had it in his hands.
Again, this moment was like 15 years in the making. Call me a pussy if you want, but I keep quasi tearing up when I reply the incident in my head. Especially with everything that's going on in my life right now.
We had it. It was fucking ours. And it was taken away from us. I know that if Axl heard our plight he would be with us, which I guess makes me feel better on some level.
I'm sorry for you both. Those Security Guys are the biggest assholes! When I got the Mic, I cried like a little kid, I never thought I would get it, but I fuckin' got it!

That said, the day this is on shelves, I'll be nabbing the blu-ray.
Odd it's being released (only?) in Germany though. I would have guessed something like this would be released in cinemas in South America before anywhere else.
I'd say bring that shit to a theater near me, but I swear I'd be the only one in the theater, as sad (or awesome for me?) as that would be

Unless he announces a DVD/Blu-ray release, there wouldn't be any point (unless it's going to be shown at other parts around the world).

I live in the Netherlands, very near to the german border, but the closest theather in the list is still a 2 hour drive!
