Ok now we're getting somewhere. Clearly he didn't read the whole thing the first time around.

That's damage control.. Honestly, this band was more fun before the reunion. At least for me. Back then i had hopes to hear CD2, now they are tryin to sell me shadow of your love as a new song in a ultra expensive box of old stuff.

Mostly and at Utd it wasn’t always easy. But at Real, its same as Barca.

Maradonna had that too, is what I was saying. But still are saw him in games for Argentina when it wasn’t easy and he was killing himself to score. Messi can just drift away, he’s Messi who cares about this game. Like the England tic tacs if they go out they will just put there headphones on go back to their mansions with built in hair salons. In a way that’s a strength.

Maradona is WC champion thanks to Burruchaga and Valdano. Burruchaga was an animal in every part of the field.

I agree with the scoring part, Messi needs to chill down, comming from the bench to resolve things.

I think that is something different. Messi has a lot of magic. Like I was saying with Maradonna in La Liga Barca murdering teams and Messi has torn teams apart on his day, and the skill and finesse of the finishes are next level.

But going into a game as the underdog I’d pick CR7. He’s fighter. Any conditions, on the break, in the air etc. Messi seems like he needs it how he likes it.

None of them are underdogs in my eyes. All of them are capable of scoring at any minute. Messi and Maradona with the assiting plus.

I still belive that CR7 next stop should be Hollywood or politics. He's a great actor and maybe great director.

It’s hard to say because he’s just chilled in Barca. But in the right team he can be devestating. Skill wise he’s up there. These are the players that get the attention. But tat Barca team relied on Puyol and there was Ineista. Messi needs that dominant platform. Then he can trick his way through. But Diego and CR7 you can play defensive and they could get a goal on their own. Drogba was another. There’s also mids like Pirlo that just comtrol the game.

This is what England don’t have, a playmaker or a general. Henderson just seems to pass it to the back 3. Only Sterling is linking defence to attack. I guess if he had more vision he’d be dissecting defenses but he’s more a runner for Silva to feed. 3-1-4 tic tacs- 2

Maradona in both Napoli and Argentina had that dominant platform. It wasnt only him.

CR7: i hope that you are talking only of Portugal.

Ronaldo iscomparable to Marafonna as they can both carry a team. Not sure Messi can.

Ronaldo is a very good scorer and a very good performer. We all hate him cos we think he's always a douche, but yet i can't recall a single bad comment from team mates.

One man carrying a team is impossible, but you can look good at it and you can put it in your resume.

Messi failed every attempt at look good. Even on the anthems, he drives himself to the shit hole.

At the end, when both CR7 and Messi retire you will see compilations of goals and plays. And the legend of Messi will just begun. He's unbeatable.

    England v Belgium.

Might as well have a go.

    Kane is better than Lukaku.

Hazard is probably the best player in Prem. But Sterling, Ali, Lingard all had better seasons.

We know Lukaku and Hazard like to play on the break. So deep defensive line. Use pace England have.

Maybe throw on Rose and Vardy instead of Loftus cheek.

    But Lukaku has 3 legs.

I put my bet on England on this one, knowing that Belgium has better players.

I know that and nowhere did I say he's an example as a human being. That's why I compared him to Axl

The guy has like 6 children with 4 different women, he's got a big entourage of useless idiots and they are all on his payroll... Coincidence much?

The same can be said about GN'R..... Slash, Duff and Steven, they all had a health-scare that forced them to stop using:shrugs:

Axl is a heavy drinker and he's not precisely in the best of shapes, for being the one who allegedly did not become a drugaddict, his beer gut says a lot about his lifestyle.

Saying we worship a band of drugaddicts is rethorical. I don't believe they are on drugs anymore but that's just wishful thinking and applying some logic, not because I know them personally or have accurate information on their health status.

Like I said, I am not here to condemn people for their drugaddiction or former habits. I just wanted to highlight the bias and hypocrisy.

That's all.... let's go back on topic :)

    Germany is playing!! :headbang:

I agree in most, but you can't sing 3h shows at 55+ if you are a heavy drinker/smoker or out of shape. Maybe not the best of shape, but shape to do his job in an regular to good way most times. Maradona sometimes is barely breathing, drunk as fuck or stoned. His trip to Colombia weeks before is certainly not rutine.

Today i will support Swiss, some parents there and the chocolate!!!

Im sorry but that's fucked up thinking!

Drugs affect everybody and can impair people, whether they are actors, musicians or sport men/women.

I am not supporting Maradona's use of drugs at all. Not even justifying it. I know it was his fault that we were kicked from 1994 WC. But he's had his punishment for his abuse and he battled death. I dont think he is using anymore or else he wouldnt even be alive and still working.

What I cant stand is the bias and hypocrisy of some here, going all "puritan" about drugs when we are here worshipping a band of drugaddicts. People who were in similar condition to Maradona but he is the bad one.

More over, there's this sick bias of bringing up drugs only because you dont like the person. It happens with the band too: Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven, all big druggies but just out of bias, we have people believing that Slash, Duff and Izzy dont use anymore, while Steven "for sure" still does.

So it is the same standard you are applying to Maradona. Only because you hate him you still associate him with drugs.

You can't touch Maradona as a football player.

Everything else is fuckable. As a human being, as a father, as a politician, as a manager.

As a drug addict the line is thin. But i like to laugh at almost everything. I don't mind the coke jokes at all, i believed he stopped using that shit long ago, but i believe he stopped only for medical reasons. He's still a heavy drinker and smoker. Every year he's worse than before. And that takes me to GNR. Every drug addict or alcoholic is now cured. The Duff from the 90's is no more. So nobody is worshipping a band of drug addicts, but more a band of former drug addicts who wrote their best songs on drugs. Just like Maradona on coke and his best years in Napoli.

I like the lady's expression, an expression of resignation.

fuck yeah!, but this time i don't think he was on drugs, more like very very very drunk. That's the way to go in Russia. Maybe a mix with some coke, he was with his former Manager/druglord/leyend Guillote Coppola.

Mexico got sanctioned by FIFA for sayin "PUTOS"(hooray for tolerance!s) to the Germans. Maradona here is getting a free pass.
