I get it in a way, though, even if it is 90% jokes. People in certain professions we like to imagine as inoffensive almost to the point of sterility. It's like when students are shocked that their teachers don't just sleep at the school and spend their weekends rearranging desk chairs. Our worlds start to make less sense when particular components of the superstructure appear to wiggle out of position in unexpected ways.
