Anyhow, you probably got it right, everyone sayin HOF is BS and HOF is this or that, but the fact is Axl didn't want to go because of Slash.

There may be a reunion someday who knows, but Axl made it clear it's gonna be on his terms or it ain't happenin. So whatever, people are pissed, but that isn't going to change it.

Axl should be cranking out new music videos and and dvds of the shows and music and merchandise if he wants to put the old band to rest, I don't really get it.

I think we all deserve an award for enduring that shitty feed last night to see these guys receive their induction, speak, and play. What a horrible experience that was! I never thought I would say this, considering how everything went down, but I woke up a prouder GNR fan this morning.

He won't release the rest of the 'Chinese Democracy Era' music, like he said he would. He won't record new music with the current lineup, despite their extreme desire to do so. Absolutely will not have anything to with the old lineup. What fans is he trying to please?

It seems like he continues to schedule tours to simply avoid having to face another record release, be it old or newly recorded songs. Even DJ has expressed his frustrations about how constant touring has been hindering new music.

The only ones (and I'm sure they'll rear their heads in this thread) that continue to support him are the usual gluttons for punishment who dig the fact that Axl is out to please literally no one. Well, have fun with that.

I'm just sick of how publicly apathetic Axl is when it comes to the fans. He claims he's not out to disappoint us, but then he seemingly does everything in his power to have his actions dictate the opposite.

The fact that the fans booed his name in droves when it was mentioned at the HOF should be a wake up call. Though, for whatever reason, I'm sure it wont be...

Edit: I'd like to add that I definitely can't wait for the inevitable fall South American tour to be announced, dashing hopes of a late 2012 release for the next album!! R'N'FN'Rolll!!!!

Making some good points here. I don't know the terms of his settlement but i think he has to tour per that agreement.

At any rate, he should move forward and do something with the new band or just go ahead and reunite if he's just gonna keep playing the classics and soon to be classic CD material.

Well... Axl doesn't want to reunite because he claims to have moved on, but there is no indication there is going to be new music anytime soon or any new thing.

He just lost. It was amazing, it was superb, and Axl lost it. He is the only one who loses here. Poor Axl... Sometimes I used to think that something really bad happened in the past that would justify his actions, something we don't know about. But honestly, nothing justify such a big stupid act. Axl, you're an asshole. If I had to chose between seeing you or Slash live you know I would pick you man, but you're fucking asshole.

This is so fucking sad. I'm digging in my closet for my camcorder so that I can point it at the screen of my netbook which is showing a small and poor stream of live video of a camera pointing at a tv set from a distance with people getting up in front of it, and that tv set is in turn showing the stage of the HoF. I don't think Izzy is that afraid of media attention. The guy certainly doesn't provoke it like some other stars though. He was keen to be a part of Velvet Revolver until he saw potential headaches with Scott being there. I think he just doesn't like the stress of working with difficult people

I read somewhere the other day that the reason he quit the band was because Axl handed him a contract telling him where on the stage he could and couldn't stand!

Izzy will always be my favourite member. He's an enigma and in my opinion was the heart and soul of the band. If Izzy had been allowed to make more decisions I think the whole sorry history of Guns N' Roses would have been much different
