I can't be there early. That's why I'm asking when, typically, GNR go on. It says 5 PM on the ticket. Is that when the doors open? When the first warmup is scheduled?

@Fernando How's the process of selecting which bands to open for GN'R on your tours? You've had some great bands to open for you in the past, and you got Ghost, Greta van Fleet etc. this summer.

Personally I'd find it even more exciting if they did some serious marketing for the current band, rather than a band that broke up 30 years ago. I want new material and a serious future for todays GN'R, that wont solely rely on nostalgia.

Obviously them being who they are matters. But the incoming announcement would never be as big had they not gone for this campaign beforehand. There's still lots of speculation and uncertainty to what exactly we are getting, and what will happen in the future. Just look at this thread..

Not to mention this whole campaign in effect also promotes their upcoming tour, the brand and their music in general. I think it's brilliant, and a lot more exciting than just an ordinary announcement on facebook or whatever.

Adler will obviously use this to promote his own tour, as he should. I mean, why not?

The first couple of posters lead to speculation, but it's pretty clear by now that Adler and Izzy isn't involved. If they re-recorded anything (which I doubt), I wouldn't be surprised if Izzys and Adlers parts were replaced - and quite honestly I wouldn't mind too much either. Maybe that's just me, but I like and enjoy the current band (especially Richard who I think is brilliant).
