this award is ,like have been pointed out,nothing major.

IMO Axl does not deserve any award from anyone for 1990-2014.

he needs a shrink IMO.

with Slash being there…..i believe Slash is an active part of the revolver community

and have every right to be there if he so chooses.

someone said "but Axl is so fragile,slash would fuck it up for all of us".

this isn't anyone but Slash's call.

and never mind how Axl FEELS about this,Axl's feelings seem out of whack,delusional and should not

be taken into consideration.IMO.

I'm probably too cynical but the more i read the more i just want to buy

something else for money i have saved or worked jobs i don't like for.

i have been a GNR fan my whole life.from 13 years old to now.

but this isn't really anything that inspires me.

ashba,bumble,not slash and izzy……id rather get a boot from the 80s/90s on ebay.

that's when i started really questioning Axl.

this revolver award is worth some recognition from the biz.

however,i don't think Axl deserves any price for the last 10 years.

i think it should got to someone who's heart is in the right place.

this is a great opportunity for Axl to promote a new song or the band,my guess is he will do neither.

and "Dio award" to w axl rose…..sorry,that's a laugh.ronnie james rio had integrity and was a pro.

he is dearly loved and respected in certain communities.

i think by giving Axl this award they want to see if he can still be reasoned with.

Axl's voice is not good these days.

if Axl had new songs ready for release geffen would put it out.

it's not that hard these days with internet and u can record an album on your mac

with Axl's mindset and hating Slash for no good reason 25 years later is the problem IMO.

if he had anything ,by now someone would have leaked or we would know what was up.

i do relate to CD and like the album.

it's like a journey through Axl's inner demons and there are good songs(TWAT,catcher).

what i do not like is that it's a GNR album.

GNR for me=slash,izzy,duff,steven,axl.

it's a great Axl Rose album.

and just because Axl legally owns the brand Guns N Roses he got that ownership

in a cruel and undignified manner.

it's not right.

this band with ashba etc,call it GNR in your head and be happy and don't care about what

I don't see that many shows anymore since I'm old and have a kid.

but i saw Arcade Fire on the neon bible tour and they came on stage on time,gave it all,

people were ecstatic.it was great.like an awakening.

Arcade Fire is a great "new"band.

my first was Prince sign o the times tour in 1987.

that is to this day the best concert i have witnessed.

wish i was in London or Manc for these latest "guerrilla"shows.

Bruce is a one-off in every way.

he's gotta be 65 and plays 3 hour concerts with deep cuts,new songs from new albums,

he doesn't have oxygen tanks,he started a show in Perth with Highway to hell(Bon Scott was born in Perth).

now thats respect and doing the right thing.

i would see whoever over current Guns if i wasn't so invested and still even though it's sick,ima fan of Axl's.

Arctic Monkeys AM album is good and if i could i would see them live.

If this were a Live DVD from the 02 line-up with tons of songs from the 2000s era, I'd be a VERY happy fan now, really. I just can't enjoy a dvd recorded in a Casino, featuring mostly AFD songs with BBF and Ashba. I can't respect it, so I can't enjoy it.

it's not a new song and we know.but his audience of aging not-so-interested might be happy.

as for actual new songs(say the general or other fictional titles being knocked around on these boards),

i don't think they exist or are being rehearsed or anything like that.

it's not particularly great that a show with ashba,bumble etc and bad Axl vocals is coming out

when we could have great live CD's from the Original band or Axl moving forwards.

volcano lives in an alternate universe where Axl is fan friendly and there's hope for a new album etc.
