  1. Last night there was a mass shooting in Isla Vista, California, near UCSB. I was concerned because my cousins were in that area for a graduation. Here's what went down:

And here's the video the murderer made the day before he went on his shooting rampage:

Basically the dude went around killing people because he couldn't get laid and had no social skills. The video he made is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. Who did that asshole think he was? He thought he was owed a girlfriend and sex for some reason. This has got to be the most retarded reason to slay a bunch of people that I've ever heard of. (Not that any reason is great) Watch the video. The dude is nuts!

  2. I thought California was really hot and that? :) You're lucky darlin', fuck living round here, you wanna see what it's like walking 2 miles in the fuckin' horrible rain every morning, I'd love to live in your climate. One thing i love about extreme heat is that it's almost impossible to dress smart in it, get that slouch look going :)

It's not usually really hot where I live. It's usually in the 70's I think most of the time. California is a big place, so there are deserty places where it's hot most of the time, but I live on the coast in Southern CA, so the weather is normally very mild here. Hot weather is unpleasant.

  3. It's been in the 90s and 100s this week where I live. Makes me want to kill myself. This weather is totally out of the ordinary for here. I think it's the end of the world.

  4. i have like 5 pairs of Tommy Hilfiger shoes as well, i find them very convinient

and im a huge fan of Michael Kors shoes, they look great and they are really made for walking. This is one of my latest acquisitions

These are cute. All the other shoes in this thread are ugly.

A couple weeks ago I bought a new pair of black hi-top Chuck Taylors. I hadn't bought new chucks in 10 years. Figured it was time. They're too bright and new looking, though. I'm not used to that.

  5. Lol you always know it's a Dazey thread because there's always an exclamation point in the title. :D

Don't hit your kids. It's not beneficial to you or the kid.

  6. Yes Christinith, not finished yet so very messy! That bit on top of the skirt is going to be concealed with a belt/waistband soon. And I have big hips, so I need a dress that's wide enough to cover them. I'm all about the hourglass shape ;)

Pleased that you're a fan of the blue ribbon. That's my favourite part too. :)

Awesome! Can't wait to see the finished product!

  7. I absolutely adore that blue and nude Chanel dress. It's beautiful and definitely want to try combining sky blue and nude soon, even if I'll never own that particular one myself.

I like yellow dresses. I've never owned one, but yellow is such a pure, joyful and summery colour. I really don't have the skin tone to pull it off though. I think that the next summer wedding I go to, I'll make a yellow dress.

I know I said that I wouldn't post a photo of my wedding dress until I've finished it, but since I'm here uploading photos, I might as well. It's around 80% of the way there. Since taking that photo, the straps and neckline have altered drastically, but with that photo, you can at least see the general gist of what I'm going for.

Great work Gracii! I'm loving the double layer organza skirt and the trimming matches the veil perfectly!!!

Loving the draping on the bodice too, you've done a great job even though you said it's not finished. And the colour choice is brilliant. Shows personality and individuality. :) x

I love the blue ribbon at the bottom. Not super into the rest of it. Looks kind of messy to me. Obviously I need to see it finished and on a person, I'm not great at judging clothes when they're on a hanger or whatever. I don't like the part that's bigger just below the waist right on top of the skirt portion. It looks like it would just make someone look really wide there.
