Why is it Ok for you to judge people here when you personally ruin sections in Anything Goes? Many long time posters have answered your questions in the Relationship thread and you completely ignore them. Shouldn't you work on yourself and your posting habits before bashing other people?

There are three other forums that are 100% pro-Axl 100% of the time. This is the most popular GnR forum on the internet. Why would you want to change the most popular forum? Why don't you post at the forums where you aren't allowed to criticize Axl? Wouldn't you be happier at those forums?

I'm not bashing anyone. I just think the level of hate the guy gets is a little bit extreme. It's just rock music at the end of the day. I have no personal feelings about Axl Rose other then I hope the guy finds peace and I like the music he helped make and I think the persona he had in the early '90s was kind of cool. The fact that people take music or what musicians do so seriously, like, people here act affronted by Axl, is odd to me. I don't feel Axl Rose (or any other musician for that matter) owes me anything, whereas it seems some here feel like they're personally owed or were personally wronged by Axl. Would I have liked if the old band stayed together, or got back together? Of course. Would I like if Axl's GNR put out more music? Yeah. But I don't see any reason in crucifying the guy because he doesn't do things to my standard. No one forces me, or anyone else, to go see his shows or buy his music, he's not in my debt.

Where did I say I want to change the forum? I never said criticism shouldn't be allowed, or that it should be censored in any way or to ANY degree. You are twisting my words and my intent. I just find the level of genuine hate some people seem to have for someone they don't even know to be odd.

GN'R were bigger than Metallica will ever be ... and that's due to Axl's vision ... Izzy wanted GN'R to be a bar band and Slash never was a fan of the epics ... unfortunately, looks like Axl couldn't keep it that big, alone, for too much long ...

Sorry to break it to you, but Nirvana was bigger than GNR or Metallica with the Nevermind album despite the fact that all of the aforementioned bands DOMINATE the rock music world. Nirvana were alternative and Kurt plays some god awful shitty solos, but he looked like the epytome of the new generation, Axl and James not so much. Nirvana (although became a mainstream world wide act) was the exact opposite to GNR and Metallica. Millions of people like all of the 3 bands, but Metallica always more metal than all of them, on the other hand Axl was the best frontman at that time in the whole world, period.... GNR were hard rock (it's softened during the UYI's though), Metallica were metal (even on a commercialised way, but still heavy as fuck, they sounded the best during that tours) and Nirvana were the new real deal: alternative (the sound of Grunge although the grunge movement contains far more better bands than Nirvana lol)

Nirvana never was bigger than Guns` it`s a bullshit trotted around by Kurt`s worshippers UYIs outsold Nevernind and subsequent tour dwarfed them. Nirvana was a fad and was worn out by the end of 94.

So far I`ve heard 3 songs and I don`t think I will listen to the album in it`s entirety it`s a weak na-na pop cack for me.

I don`t like The Dead Daisies. I don`t understand what`s the big deal they`re another uninspired Bad Company wannabes.

Axl is an inconsistent lyricist when he hits he nails it, when he misses holy shit, it`s dreadful.

One of the weakest points of the album it`s an embarrassing cheesefest Axl gave Bon Jovi run for his money he can do better. Bucket`s solo is sublime though.

The High Flying Birds was awesome much better than Beadie Eye I have to get a hold of this CD.

You can`t go wrong with The Dark Side of The Moon.

I like it for what it is but it does n`t hold candle to the original British version Francis Urquhart would devour Frank Underwood.

This gig was raw, it was energetic but ti still sucked.

I will pass on this.
