I heard Let's Ride, Detroit Michigan and Cucci before the album came out. Based on those I thought the album would be a disaster. I actually enjoy it a fair bit though. The aforementioned songs work well in the context of the album. There's one or two duds but overall it's pretty solid. The Mirror is one of the strongest songs he's ever done, and the title track and Midnight Ferry are also great tracks too.

Tough question. If I could only pick one, it'd be Yesterdays. Locomotive would be cool though, could have an extended jam at the end.

Let's Ride is ok. Nothing special. Still looking forward to the album though. I've enjoyed his past three albums a lot. The self titled album in particular was a great record.

A little more gutted to be missing this now that He's Back is in the setlist. I love that song.

He'd maybe make my top 10 favourite vocalists list.

First performance of House Of Fire since 1990

Pretty sure it got played once or twice in the past few years (in Greece I think).

I was a bit gutted to be missing this (no shows in the north west of the UK) but now I've seen the setlist I'm not too bothered.

I enjoy the first four songs. After that, the songs range from average to awful (The Judas Kiss being one of the worst they've ever done).

The idea that we should pay for the funding of an album and then pay for the album is kind of ridiculous.

Through these sorts of projects, you generally get the album as part of the donation. The more you donate, the more you'll get. Hypothetically speaking, a $10 donation could get you the album, a $20 donation could get you the album and a shirt, a $50 donation could get you the album and a signed lyric sheet etc.

I was quite disappointed with the last album. The three before however were very good, so hopefully the previous effort was just a blip. I also hope they play more than one date in London when they tour in support of this album.
