  1. Believe it or not few months back I tried making our local radio station here to start playing a song from ChiDem by sending a message on their FB and I never got a reply back. My intention was to get GNR back on the charts like the old days, as I know none of the songs off CD has ever been played on radio here. Didn't work at least where I live. Bah.

  2. Most who will attend will be hardcore Gunners, the rest who may have or haven't heard of GNR in the past decade may leave the venue ASAP as many are from different countries (catching flights back home) or out of state wanting to get home as Monday is a working day, because the concert is AFTER the race.

    So I'm not so optimistic on the exposure this gig will get if the objective is to attract non-hardcore fans.

    However I sincerely hope it will turn out to GNR's favor. More publicity to the new lineup so that the next album will outdo ChiDem's sales. rock3

  3. And what is it with people who pay for tickets and at the same time trying to provoke the band so that there's a risk of the show being canceled half way?

    Why would it be cancelled? It is obvious that Axl doesn't care...

    Not talking about this KFC bucket incident, but in general, in the past, when a member of the audience threw stuff toward Axl while he was performing. They knew he was pretty cuckoo those days with his temper and all and yet somebody always managed to do something to add fuel to his fire. That's what I meant.

  4. That means, right after Oz, they are continuing the tour to another country? Man, when will they start recording????

    What next, after Malaysia? I'm not surprised there are few more other countries they will stop by this year. We may as well hope the next album comes out in 2020.

    I wouldn't call playing one gig a tour....

    OK that is being hopeful. I sure hope they hit the US right back after March and record, record, record.

  5. Thing is, this is thoroughly in character with the, banning of Slash t-shirts. We know it happened - we know Axl was caught lying when he was arguing with Madison. We know it still happens. There has been too many accounts of it happening, from too wide a region of the world to still persist in the beleif that this doesn't happens - po-Axl fans have mentioned it happening. So we know it still happens. Presumably, if Axl was offended by a Snakepit t-shirt in the crowd, he would also be offended by a guitar in a glass case, as belonging to another guitarist who departed badly.

    I must have missed that. Care to share the article or statement where it was confirmed he lied about the Madison argument thingy? I thought I've been seeing pictures of people wearing Slash shirts to a few of GNR concerts, wait, some even dressed up as Slash (the Erin Everly pic??) and didn't hear those kids being thrown out?

    If you look up 'dickhead' in a dictionary, you will see a picture of W. Axl Rose. I cannot believe this story is so shocking,

    I never thought someone would take my advice literally!!

    :rofl-lol::rofl-lol::rofl-lol:

  6. OK I read the source. Find it hard to believe it was Axl's doing as two months after Vegas show BH's guitar is still not being displayed?? Why would it still be missing from display when GNR has long left Vegas? If indeed it was Axl who asked for it to be removed while they were performing there wouldn't it made sense for the guitar to be back on display ny now?
