  1. I read somewhere, and don't remember where and no I'm not gonna look it up lol. But I read the Erin thing was

She had a female friend give her some valiums after a fight/argument with Axl. And Erin being naive, took all of them at once. And ended up at Stevens house cause they/she got scared from taking all of them. And it got back to Axl that it was Steven and he have her the speedball.

According to Steven he himself was not even present at the time that Erin took the drugs; Adler was with Andy McCoy in his house in Laurel Canyon when Andy's wife arrived with a stoned Erin. Axl had beaten Erin up so Erin had arrived at McCoy's place distraught. Andy's wife, Anastacia (Stacy) Maisoneuve, had then given Erin all of these Klonopins and Clonodines to calm her down. Also, according to Adler, Adler saved her life by calling the ambulance.

That is the contingency with the Steven-Erin incident. It merely depends on whether you believe Axl's side or Adler's. There is no factual evidence to support Axl's version over Adler's. Axl was a nutjob who was not even present and was himself, doing all sorts of nasty stuff to his wife. The other was a drug addict who lived a sordid existence of lies and manipulatation - as drug addicts do. The only person who could shed light on it is Andy McCoy. Anastacia Maisoneuve died soon after the incident. Perhaps Erin recalls something but I doubt it (her medical files would of course confirm whether it was a speedball cocktail or downers that she had taken).

We just do not know. Personally, I would not like to bet on either account.

as far as i remember Adler said in his book that Axl and Erin had a fight. It doesn't necessary mean he had beaten her up

  2. IRS is a huge hit in my charts. And i dont understand why people think the lyrics is silly. it's just funny and full of sarcasm. sure it cant be compared to Illusions era lyrics, which was so profound and beautiful it just took your breath away. but there's no such lyrics on CD at all. and it's ok. true masterpiece is impossible to recreate

  3. All the mother f'er had to do was go solo after the breakup, but he managed to massively fuck that up!

That's what every small minded average musician would do. it'd be no fun at all.

but yes its kind of sad that he waisted so much time and talent, sometimes it feels like he's living in some other universe with different time dimension

  4. Coma is really spectacular, it sounds so dramatic at Duff's It's so easy trailer

though I'd like to hear it in some real movie soundtrack, maybe a psycological thriller with a good suspense at some emotional turning point. But since 1991 I oveplayed Coma ad nauseam. So today i prefer Locomotive. I actually listened to it in the car on my way to office

  5. in my mind Axl was never that hot even in his prime, but he was dangerous, and controversial, and crazy, and cool as hell. and even those who called him asshole knew that. and thats why i love him so much, besides from being great singer, frontmen, lyricist etc. and now internet is full of fat jokes and memes. and that drives me mad. so yeah id like him to get in shape. i know its selfish but what you gonna do. maybe i hope that if he looks cool it will somehow bring back his old cool persona that wrote all those cool songs.

  6. He should bring it back, its so much more suiting these days.

    this

back in the old days Axl wasn't as sensitive as now, despite the fact he was doin' hothead things...

He even wrote in Pretty Tied Up that "this" band became a joke

    But wasn't that Izzys song?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretty_Tied_Up

that would make sense cause for Izzy the band was already a joke. and for Axl it was his pride and glory plus self-irony was not his strong point
