Well slash said recently that gnr gonna take a break until "something" in March.. so there u have it. Really really hope they can play at least 1 new tune then.
Slash also said he is working on music for new SMKC so...

I remember reading Irish/German.
Actually he made a refference about him and Duff having Irsh roots during UYI tour at Slane castle or something

Lol, the contract is perfectly valid in regards to signatures. Their legal names and aliases are stated in the beginning (btw, Axl's legal name is W. Axl Rose, not William Bailey).
Besides, the signature is just a mark representing the individual who signs it, and doesn't have to be a legible real name (most signatures are stylized anyway, and you can't make someone's name just by seeing the signature). For centuries there were contracts signed just with a cross or an "x" (due to illiteracy) and they were totally valid.
Thanks for yet another insightful post. Make sure to tell us more the next time you talk to "Iz", "Ax", "Gilb" and all your other friends.
can you repeat at least 10 more times how I call them?
also, why the fuck do you care how I call them!?
LOL where did I ever say I was talking with them or I was friends with them LOL
if you type a post, at least TRY to reffer to what is being said cause your comments do make you look stupid.
p.s. I am sorry that Iz, Ax, Gilb makes intellectual challange for you and your understanding who is being considered, but like 99.99% do know who we alk about and have no trouble understanding.
you do know who I reffer to when I say Dizz, right?
As far as contract goes...you do know that there ARE different countries following different laws and what applies in one country as obligatory DOES NOT apply in the other, right? ...or is that too demanding for you as well?

that alt could be someone else's regular set list
seeeeriously....by now I begin to think the alt list serves to sell tickes and collect click baits. they probably didn't reherse Dead Horse since 1993 and Locomotive since 1991.
LOL as if Frank could play Locomotive in the first place

This is the document (partnership agreement), images and transcript:
http://www.a-4-d.com/t3745-1992-10-dd-guns-n-roses-partnership-contract-memorandum-of-agreement
But it's not impossible that the name clause was added later to the signed document, as in this particular copy it's been typed over and exceeds the limit of the page.
On the other hand, like I said earlier, as far as Duff's account is concerned about it taking place in Barcelona 1993, I doubt that he was in position at that time to have perception of what was going on and then remember it the details years later.
I guess there's no way for us to know, and we'll never know.
...on the sidenote...that contract does not mean anything legally. For all I know, the contracts should be signed by Saul Hudson, Willam Bailey and Michael McKagan. If they signed it as Axl, Slash and Duff McKagan all these years that document was not worthy much. Or is law different in California than eg. Roman law, Germanic law...

Why? Axl is not known for doing something for the money as primary motivation. He has done things for control and power, but not money.
Even Izzy has said that Axl is not about money.
when was the last time you spoke to Iz, 1975?
do the terms 'loot' and 'PM Money' ring a bell?

They claimed they were in effect held hostage right before a show with Axl threatening not to go on if they didn't sign over the rights to the band name. They said they did so under distress and threat that fans would riot if Axl didn't take the stage. All of that is false.
!?!?
Please continue. Now that is something we had never heard anyone deny in the last 25 years. You have first hand info?

I don't put a ton of stock into what Duff and Slash in early 2000s or following their departure from GNR. Honestly, they have a long history of contradictory statements. It isn't about them not being press savvy. They knew what they were doing. They lied about how they signed over the rights to the band name. They disparaged GNR and Axl in the press while Axl stayed largely quiet and out of the limelight. And it was in an effort to promote themselves and what would become Velvet Revolver. If I'm not mistaken, they both also relapsed in the VR days.
But also, when you're butt hurt, you make incendiary remarks. They all have. Time has a way of healing wounds. So Duff can say in 2002 that he doesn't consider what Axl was doing as "Guns N' Roses" and he can still play Chinese Democracy songs today without being a hypocrite. Times and opinions change. I'm so glad they things upey all patched. Some fans wanna whine about a money grab, but it's been a dream come true to be able to see Axl, Slash and Duff share the same stage. I never thought I'd see that day.
One final thing: I have found through the year's that Axl's account of the disintegration of the band has been more accurate than what others have said. There clearly was a power struggle between Slash and Axl in the middle '90s in regards to what the next record was supposed to sound like. Axl wasn't the only one to reject the Snakepit material. Duff did too.
oh yeah? so what is the real truth then??
No, not all. Just Slash, Duff and Ax. Some members, Iz, Matt and Adler who were vital parts to AFD + UYI's are missing.

1. Hardschool - I know xD but I already loved the snipped few years ago and full version is kick ass for me
2. You Could Be Mine (Live) - Live versions from Chicago and Paris are so powerful and great, watching them is awesome but it also makes me sad how weak this sounds now
3. Welcome To The Jungle- It just have so much great energy, for me it is a perfect rock song
4. Twat - I really like the vibe, Axl vocals are amazing and Bucket’s solo brings it to whole different level. Epic song
5. It’s So Easy
Honorable mentions:
Rocket Queen
Quick Song (it has a lot of potential imo)
Madagascar
Locomotive
did you ever see UYI final show in Buenos Aires or Saskatoon one? UYI tour had no bad version, BUT Saskatoon...

Lol a new album will surely be met with:
- It sucks without Izzy on rhythm guitar
- It sucks without Adler on drums
- Why is Axl singing that song like that
- Too many Axl songs
- Too many Slash songs
- Yeah but where are the big guns?
- This sucks
Because if there is something we GNR fans do best, is find the worst part about a great thing
you may add -
- because Frank is on it
- because Rich is there
- because it is sucks

yes, but I was mentioning singles with videos.
Sympathy was more of a soundtrack, never released as an single from the album

To be fair - Estranged was a single in 94!!
'93. I still remember video premiere on MTV.
Vividly, Garden of Eden, Dead Horse, Estranged, Garden of Eden last single of UYI's.
Nov '93 TSI was already out. Since I don't..., was the last video they made as a band and that was back in '93.
Gilby released Pawn shop, Duff released Believe in me like Oct '93 or something.
'94 there was complete silence, early '95 5 o'clock came out.

Never really liked Matts ego. Or his love of coke either
huh!? mind you, the problem wasn't Matt's ego, but Axl's and lack of balls of everyone else who hadn't dared to step up against it.
ie. Mannheim '91, hadn't promoter closed the gates and wasn't Matt stepping up to Axl's face, there would have been another St. Louis, Montreal...(was that also because of Matt's ego).
As a result of that behaviour, wec lost Iz (after that show) and the whole band 2 years later.
As for cocain part...Show me an member that hasn't used at least cocaine and I will show you a virgin hooker.

🤦♂️ . Slash and Duff are replacing DJ and Tommy. Plain and simple. This version of GNR will put out a record. JFC stop tryin to creat fictional drama like the band is constantly fighting. Its simply false and overdramatic
Slash wanted Fortus for the Conspirators but Rich said no. Slash wanted to play with him for a long time.
How the fuck were they not the first choice? Richard has been there since 02 and Frank 06. Richard is well known in the industry for being adaptable to any situation. POP ,Rap etc He can play anything
Richard and Frank have known each other along time Richard is the one who recommended frank
Axl Slash and Duff are happy with them. You are just making stuff up . You have no idea what they prefer.... Stop acting like you do.
Every thread is
Frank is bad , Richard bad . Slash, Axl , Duff don’t like
Steven and Izzy are never going to be full time members ever again. Steven because he cant keep his fucking mouth shut and Izzy because he likes the way his life is right now
Fernando
Things do not become real just because you want them to.
JFC, you are aware your wrote here about stuff nobody ever mentioned or you misread, right?
Where in that text did anyone ever mention anybody is fighting!? LOL
Steve is not there because he can't keep his mouth shut!? WTF You forbid him or what?
Izzy will never be there because 'he likes his life right now', WTF? Where do you get that crap from? 'They didn't want to split the loot' - does that come from someone who himself doesn't want to be in the band because he enjoys his life right now?
You really know for a fact that Slash wante Fartus in his band???
You actually missed when FnF said 'We were called back last minute to come down to rehersals'?
You actually missed Duff saying 'We waitid for Iz with his amps for 3 months at the rehersals'.
Dude
Get your facts straight before you try proving someone wrong

Wow! That was hard ro read 😜
partially.
Ax couldn't move on with his career w/o Slash, so that gave Slash extra leverage. Ax career was dead.
Slash always had rights to logos and merch.
As to line up, Frank/Mel/Fortus were obviously, Ax choice. Slash and Duff, according to the ppl close to them privately, are not all that happy, but happy enough not to cut their contracts short.
Adler is never gonna be reliable enough to be back full time. They obviously gave him a chance, but it is silly to think he is out over 'back problems'. What really is the problem - know only the 4.
Fortus/Frank were obviously, never first choice. Remember they themselves said 'we were called back last minute'.
Why Iz is not there, is something only they know. Obviously, financies, but why Ax refused to give in - only Ax knows. I think Slash would have given Iz whatever Iz wanted. He also works with Conspirators and doesn't care all that much.
Gilby probably isn't here cause they still hope to have Iz back. Having Gilby back only to replace him with Iz, wouldn't work that well with either side + it would bring back some memories. Slash and Duff are too good friends with Gilby to screw him twice.
Matt obviously, financial side. Slash and Duff would bouth take Matt over Frank any minute.
Anyway, new record?
They will not take any risk with that. When they decide it is time, they will probably hire everyone they need is needed to make it as good as possible. Will F n F be there? Will their contract expire by then? I have no doubt that Fortus will be sidelined if threy feel they need Iz. Frank? I don't think anyone asks him anything.
If they say Charlie Watts or Dave Grohl, it will be the 2 w/o asking Frank a thing.
