Here is my idea of what happens on Kimmel. Axl comes out and he and Jimmy exchange pleasantries. They begin to talk about this and that when Jimmy says. "I heard you recently lost a couple of guitarists?" To which Axl replies in the affirmative. Jimmy says, " I know a couple of guys who could fill in." The music starts and two random dudes walk out, completely confusing everyone. Then Axl says "Nah, I was thinking more like these guys". Slash and Duff walk out, playing the intro to WTJ, everyone goes nuts.

Now, I've wasted my lunch break thinking about that.

They'll probably just end up talking about Halloween trees and burgers again.

Just my opinion, but I don't think Slash and Duff would be on board for such a hyped up thing like a reunion tour, if they didn't think Axl was up to scratch.

Sure Duff played with Axl relatively lately, and he wasn't at his best. But this is a whole new ballgame, and I honestly believe all of the guys will be in form and firing on all cylinders.

I could be proved wrong, of course, and all this hype will disappear quickly, but I sincerely hope I'm right.

I like the idea of a 2 disc "Best Of..." with 2-3 new songs, and a tour with guest spots from former members. Followed by a concert video release while they work on a brand new album. Sounds easy, don't it?

finished return of the jedi, it was a damn good way to end a trilogy. the ewoks are a little weird, kind of have a love/hate thing going for them. i hate the concept but i love the concept of teddy bears beating the shit out of storm troopers with stone clubs. 9/10

- leia strangling jabba the hutt to death was awesome.

- lando completely redeeming himself and becoming badass

- seemed 3cpo annoyed me less in this movie but i would still scrap his ass if i had the chance

- r2d2 much respect

- princess leia and luke being twins

- han asking leia if she loved luke and when leia says yes, han being badass saying he would step away, just for leia to drop the brother bomb on him, guess no cersei/jamie shit going on in the galaxy far far away.

- badass battle on endor, plus the air battle was cool.

- needed more emperor guy was awesome

- nice moment at the end with luke and darth vader.

i cant believe it took me this long to watch these movies, especially after buying the dvd's years ago glad i did since they were a lot of fun, kind of want to watch the prequels just to see how annakin went to the dark side. my guess something to do with leia and lukes mother? anyway i will watch the force awakens next week.

1. empire strikes back

2. return of the jedi

3. a new hope

Most of us went into the prequels with high expectations, and were disappointed. Set the bar low and I think you will enjoy them,at least for for a one off viewing. Saying that "they ruin the OT" is a bit over the top, imo.

I think they portrayed Leia's reaction to Han's death about right. They have obviously been apart for quite some time, and she has probably already grieved what they had, and dealt with Han not being in her life. Also, she is now a big General type person, so breaking down in tears in front of her troops wouldn't have been right.

When I went to the 3D showing at 9:00 AM, we got there about 8:20 and got great seats. When we showed up for the 2:50 PM standard showing, we got there at 2:15 and the place was packed. We had the option of sitting on the side or sitting in the front. Tried the front middle, it wasn't gonna work. The side seats weren't as bad as expected.

What is the 3D like? I'm a bit worried as some 3D movies I've seen lately have looked pretty horrible. I don't know if I'm just getting used to it or not but the effect hasn't been as convincing as around the time Avatar came out.

Avatar was shot using specific 3/D cameras, most films are shot in digital and then converted in post to 3/D, which gives it a flimsy diarama effect, and not a full rich depth

Heading off in a few hours to see the movie for the first time. I've been told the crowds at my local cinema are still huge so I'm getting there a couple of hours early.

IMO, top 10 definitely, and had they lived up to they're potential, could have been one of the greatest of all time.

I have not really managed to catch much of the NZ-Aus Test yet - low scoring game I see - but I know there is a complaint about batsmen reading the pink bowl. I'm too much of a traditionalist really; I associate first rate cricket with summer afternoons, lunch and the tea interval.

I agree, and I think there will always be daytime test matches. But having said that, I think day/ night tests will have a place going forward. Especially here in Australia. Crowds are down and so are tv ratings, especially on days outside the weekend. They had to try something and the crowd figures and ratings are positive so far with this first day/night test. Could just be the novelty, though.

How do you guys feel about the day/ night test matches? The way of the future?

Generally once there is a legal date of separation one spouse has no claim on money earned after that date.

I have a theory that Kylo Ren could be Luke and Leia's younger half-brother.

Vader may have had another child to someone in secret, or possibly hidden away by the Emperor without Vader's knowledge of a child existing. It would fit the Emperor's character to have a back up plan should something have happened to Vader.
