This is my review of the show last night!

ISE is a great opener, would be cool to hear something else once in a while but the excitement that bass intro gives you is hard to top! Axl sounded great all night, I was shocked when Better was great and RQ as well! WTTJ was amazing, love that they shortened the intro and Axl's scream in the break down made the hair on my arms stand. Shadow, do I have to say anything else than that this was the first time I was at a GN'R show and suddenly got hit with the same feeling that I get when listening to old UYI and AFD bootlegs, I actually got emotional because of it. This is the band, the same amazing band that I fell in love with as a 12 year old.

Axl actually rasped the outro to Coma, something I had never seen in person before, which was great to see. Slash's solo was amazing. I hated it in '17 and '18 but this short emotional bluesy solo was top notch, the guy next to me said "that's why they call him a guitar god, that's it, right there" in the middle of it which made me smile since he didn't seem like a die hard and was apparently really moved by it! :)

The highlight of the show IMO was Nightrain, I was blown away! Axl was amazing, as was Slash, the band was tight and the crowd was in to it! During the encore they dusted off Madagascar from the alts, would have preferred something else but the mini-rant afterwards made it totally worth it.

Over all I didn't care that the set was basically the same as the one I saw last summer, I was afraid I would. I didn't care that Hard School wasn't played or that KOHD was 15 minutes long since Axl and the band was so fucking good. This band is a fucking machine right now and I for one love machines.

    what was the rant about?

  2. A journalist that talked with Frank Ferrer noted that at the gigs in Bs. As first night (11/04/16), they told Axl Steven was there to play 2 songs. Axl said "Who?" the entourage told him it was Steven Adler again. He replied: "One." So note he did not even know Steven was down there and he cut it by his desire to be one single song..
The guy said Frank told this in a relaxed chill funny way btw.

Yeah, but he's always been utterly cautious of what he says about GN'R or the album, because he knows what kind of people he's dealing with

For some reason, I find it hard to believe that he would give such a definitive answer, especially when in a previous sentence he says everybody wants to do it :shrugs:.

Even in Spanish that part of his answer sounds a bit forced. So I'm not sure.

Been trying to get a hold of the journalist but he's nowhere to be found

Claramente, la cagaron en la traducción para mi. Hay que escuchar el audio claro nada más.

  4. Well I do no think we would ever know, unless he made a public appearence with someone.
I think from what we are able to see, that he is pretty Ok living by himself and not sharing his house with a woman.
He hasn't find that partner as Slash found in Meegan. And i think he is pretty ok with that anyways, and having fun with models and such (Lana del rey).
He can be a father whenever he wants if that is a desire for him, but maybe not.

I think the expectations have lowered a lot for them...... anyone with a bit of common sense knows they/we cannot expect another AFD!! They are way past their prime!!!

So I guess they should just relax and get on the studio and try to make the best hard rock album they can come up with at this point.

They've already made it big at the time when they needed to make it big. They've already gone through all the hell and swimmed in mud.... no one wants to see them fighting over bullshit anymore. That'd be immature and completely useless.

Get rid of the bullshit and just play the instruments. And if they are not happy with that album then make another and other and other and STFU!!

I do not want another Appetite. I'm looking forward to a new album with the Chi Dem sytle. But i do not want new songs in the style of Shadow of Your Love.

The fact that this song is already considered a myth by the hardcore fans, would kill the song even before release, because people would be disappointed, having built such high expectations of it.

Tottaly agree. The song is overrated, and it sounds Silkworms style.
I dig it anyways but I think it is not that big of a deal, IDK if the hype is for the name or just fans made it (the hype).
