Would have been nice if they managed to get 'don't let it bring you down' on this release
-
Seems pretty expensive to me
Those back on black releases can be picked up much cheaper new
-
Starlight is a horrible song
-
I want to listen to this so fucking bad, but i can't bring myself to do it before official relase. gaaaaahhh
That doesn't make any sense?
If you're planning on buying it then what's stopping you after a listen
Unless you are planning listening to it first on vinyl there's not gonna be a difference in quality from the stream

Could 'Battleground' sound any more like 'The Last Fight' by Velvet Revolver for the last two minutes?
Also the middle sounds a bit like 'Messages'.

This seems more like a band album than a Slash album
But even in bands usually Slash solo's more so i'm not sure what direction this album is taking Slash and his band

Yeah, and this albul is still a piece of shit. Unbelievable that we still don't have any official classic vh live document even if there's plenty of amazing bootlegs (Largo...)Van halen live right here right now also completely studio. Sammy Hagar did all his vocals in one session and the van halen brother redid practically everything
There's no decent Roth era Van Halen pro shots, I think Largo and the rest are awful quality
There's live without a new for the Hagar years

best live album
I tend to agree, this is my favourite live album ever
But Paul Chapman did record in the studio some parts on this album and it was layered on top of Schenkers guitar
-
Guess im in the minority. I love the Live Era album. There are some bad recordings ,sure, like SCOM which is just awful on it. But Rocket Queen and Night Train sound absolutely amazing on that album.
Rocket Queen has no rhythm guitar on it
Really weird cause they always had it live
-
Some of it is rerecorded from the Tokyo show 1992
But it's one of the best Live Albums ever regardless
But most of the best live albums were re-recorded in parts like Thin Lizzy - Live and dangerous, Priest - Unleashed in the East, Kiss- Alive 1, 2 and 3 etc

This Adler album is exactly what SIXX AM wanted to be
But it's not an amazing album just good
-
I made this show into a bluray with all the music videos with uncompressed audio if anyone wants a copy
Yeah I downloaded it and it's epic
Way better than Stoke!

Yeah this album was a surprise. Almost every song is well written and the vocalist is good. His vocals are the slightest bit emo at times but mostly routed in sleeze/grunge rock.
I remember hearing it at first and being shocked that Adler had put something that solid together, but it got basically no press and Adler went into rehab instead of touring it (probably for the best).
But it is no where even close to the standard of Chinese Democracy
If Sixx am had a singer like him they'd be a much better band.
Ps had anyone heard anything about Adler since the tour was cancelled?

30 Years to life?
How have I heard that riff before?
Was it on an add or something for the album?

This would be awful
Jericho is a poser rock star
A bad singer and bad lyricist
Fuck off!
Jericho is the Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla!
He's a good wrestler and personality yeah but that's it

The fact that Ashba is being paid more than Ron is a disgrace.
Yes that is a fact! Much more

To be like Groghan let me say ask: how do you know other bands fans don't buy multiple copies to help the band?I think AFD did extremely well for a bluray of a rock band with one album released in 20+ years and a completely different formation. I'd like to know the numbers excluding those fans who bought multiple copies to "help" the band.
Well, I don't know but I don't see fans of Elton John and ZZ Top or whatever having the "belieber" mentality of Axl fans.
Believe me he probably has more as he's more popular than Axl ever was
-
Slash just isn't a great songwriter. He's a superlative soloist and riff maker, but he has such remarkably poor sensibility with actual songwriting.
Nail on the head
Slash can't write complete songs, he's amazing at coming up with a riff and a solo
After the last album and from what I've heard of AB, Myles can't write a chorus at all but can't write decent verses (kinda like Lenny Kravitz)
The drummer's dyed black hair and old before his time face is enough to put me off him
The bass player can sing but I don't really like his tone
But I think the worst part is Myles singing style, it's not a natural style at all, while he's technically good it's an artificial tone and really gets on my nerves
Edit: I forgot to mention that Bent to Fly is the first really good chorus from Myles but World on fire is straight off AL style wise

I hope we can get full refunds for the soundtack as I didn't want the video just the soundtrack
-
I know that there were negotiations with the Howard stern show for an interview recently but unsure if it's related
Also my source is what was said on air and apparently it's not happening
-
Does anyone have a copy of the radio edit of 'World on Fire'?
Basically the track without the "Fuck"?
-
Can something be done just to make sure future releases of the blu ray and DVD are in sync?
BIGGEST CONCERN: the SETLIST!

The biggest concern by far is the lack of new material studio or live
