  1. Wait where did this come from?? Is it an editor from a rock magazine trying to be clever and at the end angle for

    a future interview perhaps?
For us lot well versed in the presses view over the years of Axl, are ya'll sitting back and chuckling a bit too

at how many people seem to be be suddenly talking about him as the 2nd coming and shit!
    Ahhh the critics...it's like roundabouts!

Honestly I don't think his voice is any better than it's been all the time this year. It's just that these kind of screaming vocals suit his voice perfectly. He sounded just as good in GNR when he was screaming. But when he has to sing SCOM-type vocals, that's when he starts to sound a bit weak.

But anyway this is cool as hell! I hope he uses this kind of a screaming voice on the next album a lot. Also, Perfect Crime would probably suit his current voice very well.

By the last GNR show Rocket Queen was sounding must better though, so he's definitely on the UP! Big up the AXL!

  3. I'm not a complete expert but Axl seemed to perform without forgetting a lyric too...Albeit his favourite band but STILL not something he's always managed for his own lyrics!
Clearly AXL/DC for anyone for some strange season that isn't a fan on this board, at least it shows you what Axl is capable of doing when taking proper part of prep!
Now I think GNR promo will ramp up mid June and I think Facebook promo like AC/DC is likely, interviews down the line, when the price is right...People forget, they're probably waiting

the highest bidder on the "story" ...:P

What's with the critical thinking going on now? Axl just put on a kickass performance...it's a celebration! Back in Black will be the video analyzed by everyone and he was amazing. He passed the test and exceeded expectation. The guy is on fire and we are sitting here talking about what he can't do? I didn't think he could be the lead singer of ACDC, I didn't think he'd reunite with Slash, I didn't think Axl would ever be relevant to anyone but a small cult of fans, but here he is today standing on the top of the mountain of rock and we still are looking for flaws! Rock is an imperfect genre but Axl was damn near perfect today! What a show

    I ECHO ALL OF THIS!

Why CAN"T we all just get along and celebrate this, god remember some of the other woeful times and you'll realize what a triumph tonight was!
Anyone going to London or Manchester??

Agreed. Axl was great tonight and I'm glad it went well, and I even have tickets for the AC/DC show in Vienna, but I'm already waiting for this whole AC/DC thing to be over.

I'm a GnR fan, not an AC/DC fan, and I want to have great concerts, interviews, new music etc with GnR and nothing else.

Get ready for it to be more likely we hear Axl on a DC record...

See, I wasn't that impressed with the reunion shows. He sounds much better here in my opinion.

The 2nd Mexico show was awesome, he was getting there and now with all the rehearsals and work with AC/DC he's fully

up to scratch it would seem. This is an incredible opening night, he'll only get better from here with confidence

that the crowd seem to have embraced him (mostly)
