I can't believe anyone likes Izzy's lukewarm shoegazing middle of the road rock more than UYI. That's hilarious. Boy oh boy, why have Estranged when we could have a second-rate Keith Richards number just like a 1000 others?

If they contract 2 new guitar players,its over, 1 or 2 years of no news for Gnr, then a tour with those guys,a complete let down an album in five years and Axl fat and old.
Jesus Christ! bring back the old line up! they will make an album for the next year.
I think if they got back together in August, we have something on Itunes by Halloween....

Cant we get a reunion? Axl can say this was the most popular lineup, this is what started it all, I love these guys at the end of the day, through all the shit we went through back in LA. We are gonna release an EP, Izzy and Slash have some material I really like. Then we do a tour of the states, do some overseas come back and finish with a few select dates in the states and call it a career for GnR. Izzy has released 2 songs since 2010... Duff made a comment that Izzy has a ton of material. Slash always comes up with one hot lick or two... Touch up 2 or 3 of what Axl has, release it, tour for a few montsh and end it on the 30 anniversary in LA... Izzy, Duff, Matt and Steven, hell, let Gilby in too.... This is Slash and Axl egos, stopping this...
It's nothing to do with ego on either part.
There is one, one and only reason why Axl hasn't released more music and Guns haven't moved forward. Axl simply doesn't want to.
What has Axl always said about a reunion? Also that he simply doesn't want to.
So if you're expecting either to happen, good luck.
I dont expect anything, hope, I hope we get some sort of reunion.

Disagree. His music is truly boring. You can find some good tunes but there's nothing, nothing that is worth listening more than a couple of times.

Have some patience folks. Have some faith. GnR can become active again in the blink of an eye. The best thing would be to tour the next album not just head out on tour just for the sake of it.
Next album...
I wouldnt want an album, just tour.... If that doesnt collapse then they can try to release something.... I just want to catch them live one last time...

Axl has a lot of overhead compared to Slash and Duff, just the pyros and confetti alone are in the thousands and the crew & trucks involved to make the show happen.
At the end of the day they all want to know how many tickets were sold and how many people bought t-shirts. When Duff did the Rock Hall, he probably covered expenses for his family with doing the "It's so Easy" spoken word/concert/book signing. Slash gets endorsement deals that pay well.
But for Izzy to not have to do any touring?
I don't think so Duff covered his family's expenses cause of his book, they do have money in which they can easily take their families for vacations, Steven's band is not big, Steven has not been in any big band since GNR, but still he bought a house recently, all of them do have money and their life can easily go even if they dont do live shows, but I guess over the years their wants have become their needs, so to fulfill those needs they do need in Extra Cash. For Izzy, I guess he just wants his life to be simple, its sad he doesn't tours, he is happy in whatever he has, he would get a few thousand dollars for playing 2 to 3 songs with Axl, so I guess thats enough for him, Music is his passion thats why he releases them, he doesn't cares if they sell in millions or not nor he promotes them and doesnt tours also.
Duff is Izzy's financial advisor, per Duff in a recent interview. Izzy is eating more than PB&J's... When you have the loot they have, the $ works for them, not the other way around...

Izzy doesn't want to burn the axl bridge because if izzy ever needs a quick pile of cash, he can play a few shows with axls band.
It's really that simple.
I doubt any of them are hurting for cash...

Izzy should have attended, Alan said that Izzy was going to meet Axl in some hotel but Axl never showed up, but why would that stop Izzy going from the hall of fame? was Izzy scared that if Axl gets pissed and then Izzy wont get to play 2 to 3 songs with Axl once in 4 years? saying Izzy is a camera shy person is total bullshit, were there no camera's when Izzy played with Axl in London? how did Izzy record the video of Baby Rann? through a potato?
I think Izzy prefers Axl of Slash.... just a gut feeling

My favorite izzy story is how he went to Guitar Center to buy some guitar strings and the sales kid was like "you should buy this other set. Slash uses them!" And izzy is all "is that so?" Kid had no idea who he was talking to!
But he really should buy proper guitar string set... he was always a sloppy player on a mostly shitty rig, so he need some quality strings to hide his sloppyness like Slash does sometimes
Duff in a recent interview says the exact opposite about Izzy's playing...
