I feel that it will be a gig on the Sun Set Strip maybe on the date of the release of Appetite.

If anything else then with some wishful thinking L.A will announce something like Appetite Day and  they will release a remastered version AFD with extra live track from the recent tour and new album art.....  but that is just some wishful thinking.

I am not making helsinki gig but will be in Helsinki on the Sunday so if folk want to meet up for drinks etc and talk GNR i will be game. 

I have a feeling it be a Live album to go  with the live  DVD of the Los Angeles gig / troubadour gig (DVD Extra)  

But then who knows! It could be a Greatest Hits album like Red White & Crue with 2/3 new songs

When the European dates are over and depending if Axl is prepared to release new music, Slash and Conspirators will be releasing a new album in 2018 i will guess. 

I always though Slash! then someone said Duff... thought aboutt it, could it be .....Nah its Slash. Just listen to the many drunken high interviews he did in the day.

How long do you think the GNR bandwagon last? Do you think they will need to release something to tour again after the Europe dates next year? Like the Motley Crue who had to say this was the last tour to help promote the tour?

They wont do a tour in the States until maybe late 2017 if its a arena tour or 2018 

They may do a gig or two at the new year period  but will probably be last minute small gigs. 

Remember Stephanie makes Axl looks normal and stable.....No wonder she went with Axl! Didn't want to have her kids mixed with hers.. get boners with Maw

Whencoming back from new york, i had just been at the gig so was at the airport some guy came up to me, looked very nervous then he was asking about the gig and if i was Guns N' Roses ... I was wearing my gnr top and i have long red hair,  not happy that i am 28 and some one thinks im in my mid 50 but  I said no but my mate was saying you should of said Yes. It also happened in Vegas

I would of thought duff would be the one who be closer to Axl as i heard he had stock back in the day with Starbucks and some other companies. 

Not going to happen, GNR will most likely be doing the Asia/ Europe run next Year and Metallica, well a album is in the works but will need to see what they have plan. Only way is a festival but that will be two different days. 

They will play Europe/ UK i believe next summer as it makes the most sense as they could play Arenas/ festivals for the summer months. 

Is this the same kid who swam with her in the sea and basically had a semi!!!! 

Too much drama i think for Axl to be concerned about this. 

I don't think we will see CDII anytime soon, to be fair i don't know if we will see a Guns N Roses album anytime soon, albums don't make the $$$$$ unfortunately

I sometimes think that the next time you hear any new Axl material is when he sadly passes away and someone who owns the estate decides to sell something to make a quick buck!! ... well unless Angus decides on a new AC/DC album and Axl is the man to be the frontman.

But then this is just me, by November we could have something about a new album..... maybe Appetite 30th Anniversary with maybe 3 to 4 new songs that were written at the time and recorded recently , but who knows!!!! 

I sometimes think that the best chance to hear axl on a new album will be with AC/DC! If thats not the case then it will be his unfortunately be his death where someone who controls the estate will release material that has never been heard..... but who knows! they could release a XMAS single!!! WIBBLE OUT!!!

I don't think Slash like others  likes doing interviews so doubt he is bothered about them doing no press. Most folk will do a interview to just sell something.

Fortus may arguably be a better technical guitarist but how good does he work with Duff and Slash? How good are his songwriting skills? 

If we are going by pure skills, Axl already tried that in 1999-2002 by recruiting freese, Buckethead, etc who were all incredible session players -- but as he found out, technical ability doesn't make a band.

Duff,Axl, Slash, and Izzy sitting in a room writing songs will always beat what the '02 band could do. Chemistry can't be denied.

For the record, Buckethead is an epic talent as are Brain and Freese. The rest of nu guns were meh imho.

 

I agree with that, its not all about technique and  chemistry has to be right  but Fortus has only played a few gigs with Slash and they also look like a good combo. 

Also other reports suggest that they would unplug izzy amp when they played live, when he came back in 93.  I would love to see him part of the band but think Fortus is the correct guy to have if he is doing nothing with the reunion but i still believe we will see him some gig down the line with this tour.

I agree with you about Adler, think its time to move on as i never thought he would be in band, if anything, a few songs be played at a few gigs (Maybe the L.A Gig) 

Again, Izzy was the same for me, only play a few songs for some gigs. Fortus for me is a much better guitarist and i would only get Izzy involved if they release new music.

Promoters use different  methods in why they do thing and who is saying Axl has actually any say on the matter, it could be all down to the promoter.

He sometimes puts part of the interview on youtube as he has a lenny Kravtiz interview up the moment talking about Prince so think they will discuss Prince, Axl/dc, his film and the upcoming tour.
