Richard keeps posting much better posters for the shows than the official ones. I wonder if he is embarrassed by the childish artwork of the official posters which mainly consists of replicas of local art with skeletons?
This tour's lithos are pretty great tbh.

Awesome pics! Where was the venue and how people in attendance ?
They played in Rockwave Festival back then, which was taking place in Malakasa.
It's a place deep in the forest, so it's really good for concerts this time of the year.
FYI:
In 2006, GNR was Stones's opening act for a few selected european concerts, but Keith Richards had an injury and shows got cancelled.
So the band had some dates available and that's why Greece and Turkey got to see them.
Although the announcements were made just two weeks before the show, we had ~18.000 people. Not bad at all!
* I'm not sure if this was Frank's first show with the band, after Brain's departure (he played in Download Festival).

Seeing @thetiesthatbind profile pic, nostalgia hit hard!
I have to post some photos back from 2006 and the greek forum we had back then (gunsnroses.gr).
It was the last time I saw the band, the last time I saw uncle Ax live. I really can't wait for Saturday.
After all, "it's all greek to us!"

I feel like this is going to be a very special show. They haven't been to Greece since what, like 2006, and that wasn't even real GNR. Plus it's the last show of this leg and there's no curfew. It's gonna be something for the fans (doubt any new songs though)
Second this.
I think we 're gonna have a special setlist.

You think the crowd will be argentina-like?
We're past that.. We have a lot of people here whining about Ax etc.
Also, does anyone know if the official merchandise will be inside the stadium?

We have a few. Check out Granello. It's close to Syntagma square.
Mystic also is a great choise close to Kalimarmaro stadium.
But, the right question is "where I can find the best souvlaki".
For that one just go to Kostas in Ag. Eirinis square. It's close to Monastiraki.

Unfortunately I think it's highly likely this show gets cancelled unless the weather changes drastically....Athens constantly in the news, where wildfires are breaking out in numerous places and tourists told to go home or stay inside as risk to life!
Not gonna happen. Unfortunately, we are used to it all those years. It's a common thing.
Two years ago, we had the worst wildfires of the last decade with no cancelations.
As for our "great" PM, he's (unfortunately again) a fan. If he's really gonna attend though, a well known sing-along will emerge with uncle Ax.

Honestly who cares? I like the new person's stuff better anyway, it's in color and they've been posting some cool video clips on Instagram (with actual live audio too). This is how they should've been doing it all along.
We had some nice shots on twitter with great resolution. That's all.
Now it's just some vids and nothing more.

Thanks for the info!

Yep. It's more crispy and clear.

Just a few questions.
1. What are the prices for Europe in this tour?
2. How many pieces are available each time?
3. What's the best time to get one? What time does the merh open?

Anyone know what's going on with Kat?
I haven't seen any new photos from the current tour.. Also, according to her IG page, seems like it's not with the band.
Is she alright?

The exact same question was asked back in 2011 on tumblr to a greek woman. The response:
"We Greeks are incredibly poor now because of the economic crisis. We have no money to buy food, let alone clothes and shelter. We walk outside naked and hang out in subway stations. We hunt and eat pigeons from Syntagma Square and drink water when it rains. We don't have internet here, so I call my cousin in the US from a phone booth, the cost of which I cover by paying my body, to update my "wall" on tumbl and facebook"
