Alter Bridge is due next year, so Slash should be wrapped with all solo obligations around next Summer/early Fall if AB sticks with their September/October release tradition.

It will be probably out early 2025, with some short tour around US & Canada, then AB will go full throttle and GNR go on summer tour.

    Stoked.

We can expect about 4 albums in upcoming 12 months from artists I like - SMKC, AB, Myles solo and Tremonti solo.

I just can't get over Metal Chestnut, that has got to be the most wimply, ballless track he has ever put together, it sounds like something you'd play for your baby to fall asleep or infront of a church crowd:lol:

Man this is a lot to take in, 70 minutes of music. Key To The Highway is an early favourite, such good soloing from Slash.

Very nice intro and then yet same chord progression we could here on last 4 SMKC albums... The middle lifted solo saves it (though its soooooooo similar to Back and Forth Again). Honestly I think he wasted a very fresh and breathing intro on a not very special instrumental song.

In the grand scheme of things, if you read what fans of Slash and GNR say stops them from getting into SMKC, that is never brought up. It's like trying to fix a broken table in a house where the ceiling is gone. You'll have a working table, but people still won't want to hang out.

He goes and puts out a single with a different band (and vocalist), reaching close to 2 million views within only 9 DAYS -...what gives? Did he even achieve that in 2010 with his album? If that doesn't speak volumes about what Slash should be doing, then nothing ever will. Let's just say I won't exactly be shocked if Slash sits in his room now scratching his chin after this album and doesn't decide "my song arrangements were an issue before"

Beautiful Dangerous made 10M in two months.

I've heard vocal coaches say that posture is really important to singing properly (and that's why Axl sitting in the chair when his heel was broken was bad). I wouldn't be surprised at all if Myles is doing that to preserve his voice.

He seems to be really well aware of his body, doubt he would be able to do this if he ran around the stage for 90 mins. He was much more active when younger, especially at the beginning of SMKC.

  5. I've been tracking it after the song was released, because it was really close with Hard Skool at that time.

    "You're a Lie" 5.6M after 10 years,

"World On Fire" 2.2M after 8 years,

"Driving Rain" 2.1M after 3 years,

"The River is Rising" 2.6M views after 9 months (Hard Skool 3.3M after 10 months).

Just copied my posts from July 2022.
