Knowing the current state of GNR shit on YouTube, its definitely not there anymore
Yeah looked up & down on YouTube can't find it...

Anybody seen the 'Catcher In The Rye' music video on YouTube? Having trouble finding it. You know the one that got filmed but not officially released.
-
I've had it on good authority that the new album is on a flash drive and is hidden on of those trucks.

He'll be announced as pm by mid week.
There was a right wing think tank type on Sky News less than an hour ago, talking about the weak EU and how we need to get troops out there. I can already see the Brexiteers coming out off the woodwork to demand we take action.
This is going to end up worse than Iraq. Why do we keep electing these people?
Absolutely agree.

If Bojo the clown gets to become the prime minister of the UK, I think he & Trump will become best of buds and conspire to go to war with Iran.

Don't want to be all negative but if the merch department in GNR transitioned into somehow releasing new music/unreleased music we would be much more satisfied.

I expect them to add 2020 tour dates
That's a huge tour lol! Cool. I believe whenever the next album is released I have feeling the tour that follows the release will be huge tour, I think this fall/2020 could that time.

I wouldn't expect Fortus to have to sit back & watch Izzy perform. I'd like to see him share a stage with Izzy, he's done it before. Fortus has been touring & a member for Guns for like 20 years, he's been far more committed to GNR than some original members.

Anybody expect any more tour dates to be added after the recent dates that were added to the NITL tour?

If it hits the $299 mark, they won't need to promote it. There's tons of sites out there dedicated to informing people when things go clearance at really low prices. There's more than a few of those sites that are dedicated to just music deals.
I'd be surprised if the $399 price hasn't made it to those sites yet. Even if it has, I feel like $299 will be bigger news on those clearance sites. If it hits the $299 mark then maybe the official website will get a makeover, including the YouTube page.

Honestly it's creepy as shit but I totally would too. Wifeski is taking me to LA for my 30th next summer. Definitely have to put together a list of GNR landmarks before then.
If I know Beta as well I do...she'll invite you right in for tea & strumpets.

Nirvana could have been way more successful that what they already achieved. If Cobain could have got a handle on his 'habit' & mental health, got away from Courtney, Nirvana actually doing a complete full tour...it would have been interesting what else they could have come up with. Honestly AIC gets very little credit anywhere with regards to grunge in general and I think there sound was the closet to it. 'Facelift' for me kick started the era.

Before this thread and topic spirals out of control, most of us acknowledge that Team Brazil and GN'R management is shit. The band has done jack-shit besides touring the last 3 years. The Appetite re-issue had a lot of bullshit in it. We get it.
Really wish the band would get creative and release new music, instead we get the endless tease in interviews. Think the band relies on things to avoid new music like the appetite re-issue boxset, endless tour cycles & I understand there's limited time to make music on the road and the lineup changes have put a spanner in the works but new music has to be a major motive going forward, unless its a total cash grab. Think the NITL could have another four legs before they get done.

Will Slash & Duff put there infinite solo careers on hold when it comes the time to record new music & put another Guns record out? Just seems like they are set in a system of doing stuff, I get the guys don't like to be at home much, but will they reorganize their priorities when its time to drop another album?

Not defending any dodgy behavior btw but weren't GNR late comers to the whole rock & roll debauchery...The Stones, Beatles, Kiss, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, Motley Crue...numerous other bands...all have a past with groupies well before Guns had formed...GNR and a few other mid to late 80's and early 90's rockers had there time as well...just copied there peers. The women who helped the band during the early years should have been compensated when the band started getting real money, you know the girls from the 'the girls behind guns n ' roses documentary' those women fed them & basically helped them before the moneybags appeared.

Raz Cue, Alan Niven, Doug Goldstein, Vickie Hamilton, Doc McGhee, Merck, Fernando...Guns has had an interesting past & present with managers.

Yep we don't know the full story...maybe Izzy wanted an equal split because of his writing during the original & classic era of the band, he's played like a dozen gigs in Guns since he departed almost thirty years ago so its understandable for how things went down, although if he fully committed to the NITL tour he may have got more and got a nice cheque each show. I'd love Guns to release just as many songs in the next few years as they did during the original & classic eras of the band, they are all financially secure...I think Izzy could contribute massively to the writing process like he did in the 'Project' days, think if he put some effort in and put it as one of his top priorities and put the avocado farming on hold for a little while... it could work out great.
