My boyfriend had called earlier to upgrade his tickets and had the same experience that I did. Hope they're able to make the change for you! They put you in a tough position by saying you have to wait to find out if it went through or not. 

Thanks for response.I just called an hour ago,The representative said there was only a few PIT tix left,I have no idea but maybe that's why they are making me wait.Although I would prefer to be closer in PIT if they grant my request,Ill still be happy with my original seats.Thanks for your input Olga!

Olga, I requested an exchange for my 2 tix to the PIT and they said they will let me know within 72 hours due to Box Office Discretion.Did you have to wait at all? Hope they let me know within 72 hours,cuz  the show IS this Friday...

Unbelievable! I'm broke from buying tickets to the first Chicago show,out of boredom I wanted to see how close I could get for the 2nd show this morning and actually got through to a GA2 Pit ticket for retail! I was unable to pull the trigger though

I had no idea the design would catch fire like it did when I posted it on Twitter on April 16.The GNR Italian Twitter account retweeted it and gave me credit.From there it was retweeted by more folks.Then it ended up on a Duff Fan page Instagram account 'familiamckagan'.This was the first time for me where I made a simple design that was actually getting more likes/retweets than usual.One week later,11am Saturday,I'm scrolling the newsfeed on my FB and see the design I made.At first glance,I thought one of my FB friends shared it,nope.I look closer and notice it's the Official GNR FB page posting it! I also noticed the design has been edited,but barely.All they did was reverse the middle finger hand.I'm glad you know what's up Black Sabbath when you seen it popping up a whole week before the band came out with their version.Thanks for believing me.Why would I lie about something like this anyway? Anyways,With or without acknowledgement,it's all of their copyrighted art anyway and I'm ecstatic they used it! Since the band is promoting this 'regrouping' tour around the big 3 (Axl,Slash,and Duff).I simply modernized my fav GNR logo,The AFD cross.I repositioned the Axl,Slash,Duff skulls,sadly removed Izzy n Adler's.filled in the open spots with the GNR Coachella bullet logo,and of course the skeleton middle finger hand idea which was from a Nightrains user(I forgot the name) brilliant piece of art.Thats it! Crazy!!!!! I saw the shirt on eBay with the design for $500! Sorry for this long rant Black Sabbath lol

Thanks.I might email their management.It might be a waste of time because I wouldn't doubt whoever is in the GNR creative department flipped the skull hand and said it was their idea lol.The skull hand art idea is all "riot of paints"

Wow they did make shirts! I'm not gonna lie,I really want that shirt! It's bad ass cuz I thought that logo I put together would look great on a shirt.Like I said,it clearly was my idea,but it's other people's art I simply rearranged.What am I gonna do? Fight Axl in court? Lol yeah right.Of course it would be nice to be acknowledged for the idea but theres nothing I can do.I am just ecstatic they used it!!

I honestly thought the same thing BUT,how could I be pissed at my favorite band and it's really someone else's art,I just rearranged it to my liking.i take it as a compliment but I definetly could use some tickets/backstage passes for Chicago! Haha but I'll be fine

Yeah this is the one I posted last week on Twitter,.I believe the skull hand originally came from fan art on GNR FB a while back when then they asked fans to post fan art.My brother is the one who sent it to me and that's what he said.I have no idea where the original source is from

I know right! Lol.All I did was cut out the cross with the middle finger skull hand on the bottom of the cross I saw from some fan art.Then I cut out the AFD Slash,Axl,Duff Skulls and put Em on the cross,threw the Coachella Bullet in the middle of the cross,added Coachella on top and the red gnfnr logo on the right.So I didn't exactly make it,I just rearranged everybody else's art in a cool looking way for the Coachella show

It could be BS,I don't believe that was the straw that broke the camels back.However I could totally see Axl being uncomfortable with Slash playing with MJ at the time,just my opinion.Asia you are right,we don't know how Slash truly feels,but it's AC/DC and it's only a handful of shows while the rest of GNR is off(hopefully working on new songs!  wishful thinking I know).Its not like Axl is filling in for something lame.AC/DC are Slash and Axls childhood Rock N Roll idols! But who knows,maybe one day Slash will reveal it was a bad idea due to the great momentum of how these GNR shows are going.I for one think it's cool Axl is filling in for AC/DC,I just hope he doesn't break another bone or blows his voice from rocking out too hard w/ Angus by the time I see him with GNR in Chicago

I love Illusions ever since the day it came out when my brother and I both bought on cassette at the midnight release,compared to AFD,The drumming is definitely weak on those records,I was bummed but it's easy to zone out due to the brilliant songwriting by the founders of the band which Matt had zero contribution! I don't see any Sorum writing credits on UYI? Do you? Nope.

Anyways,of course I will always still listen to Illusions,when I said,Thank heavens nobody has to live through that again,I meant his drum solos! which are equivalent to the drum soloing of Lars Ulrich,straight up weak sauce.But Metallica is pretty much Lars' band so no one can say shit.

I find it hilarious and sad watching people on this thread continue to voice their opinion on the importance of Matt Sorum! LolGimme a break.When he got the job,the rest of Guns said Matt saved the band from breaking up,kudos to Matt but it doesn't matter what drummer got the job,I guarentee the band would of stated the same thing.To each his own though,just stating my opinion.Im sorry people,I just never dug Matt.Im ecstatic where the band is at now.They actually have someone on drums that actually hits harder than Matt!
