I've seen various ads for the show here in Holland with 10 euros discount. Not a huge discount or anything, but it does show that the tickets don't sell themselves like last year.

I'm guessing the strikes are coming from some individual, not the band (since they'd be striking every other pro-shot concert on youtube as well, but they don't). Most likely that guy is the one who sold the bootleg.
But why/how can he be the 'owner' of the material? I guess that's always the band, management or record company, and since this hasnt been officialy released I'm guessing its one of the first two, and some individual that somehow got ahold of these recordings is not suddenly a rightful owner of the copyright/publishing rights?

Constantine's favorite part of the after party was "Hearing demented Axl stories from Steven".
This is what he wrote above the missing photo.
constantinemaroulis Last night’s after party at @rainbowbarandgrill 🌈Amazing that @tommorello lent @realstevenadler and I his awesome guitar cohort @carlrestivo for some RAWK SHOWS!! We are having a GOOD time, especially hearing demented Axl stories from Steven!! Tom you are such an inspiration on so many levels and always so kind, thank you for coming!! If you ever need a singer for @audioslaveofficial I may know a guy 🙏🏼 🤟🏽🎸@carlrestivo is the MAN!! 🎸☠️🎙

He's such a poser. And its really not his place to make this kinda comments about Audioslave's (lack of a) singer.

Well Goffertpark is a shitty venue. Not the park itself necesarrily, but the surroundings arent equipped for 65k+ visitors, so its a real hassle to get there and go back.
At least the area next to the Arena is used to having 50k+ visitors. -
Not sure if this means that NITL will continue with a full additional leg, or if this is just some highly paid 'one-off'.

Go back a few pages. I quoted it. From Rolling Stone in 1999.
Aaaah I thought in the recent RS articles about the boxset

They are actually smart, just checked gnrmerch, including shipping to would cost just over €185 at the current euro/dollar rate. But maybe it will be cheaper at other places, not sure. Haven't checked what Amazon shipping would cost for example.
So actually you could get it on Amazon with standard shipping would cost around 155 euros at current rates. But it might take three weeks to arrive...

Personally I'm just wondering if there's a huge profit margin on these, or more of a regular one because the development/production costs are very high.
Basically, I want to know how hard they're fucking us with these.
I think it for every set except the wooden box it's more in the volumes then actually making a huge margin on a single unit. But yeah I guess they'll make quite a few bucks on the box, but you are very right that a lot of hours have gone in creating it, designing the box, the litho's, posters, picks, everything. Someone has to manage all this, discuss it back and forth with everybody who has a say in it, prepare this whole gnr.fm thing, and I have to say; they did a fine job in keeping it under wraps for so long.
-
I really dont understand the ongoing discussion about the production price of the box. I mean, if you buy a car, or a TV, or even a steak, you don't get it at just the bare price it costs to make the damn thing. Its all about demand/supply and the ammount of the units you can ship a certain price. GNR is definitely no NGO or just in it to break-even, so why suddenly all the discussion about what it would cost to manufactor a box or press a CD or LP?

Unless Melissa was in the band in 1986, you’re wrong.
you can hear it on this old version:
Would have been cool, having a 1-year old Melissa Reese doing backing vocals

Well I guess they could squeeze another leg before Slash goes on the road with SMKC? His first date is in September or so, right?
Would love an arena leg here in EU, not sure why they would do another US leg unless they drastically change the set/show or Izzy and Steven return.

super deluxe should be 149 euro as per current exchange rates. Bol is screwing us over again. I'm going to wait till I see it in the wild for the right price

$1000 is crazy, I like the 179 though, seems good price for it's contents.
Seeing SOYL on Spotify here now
-
Don't know who said it here, but its kinda twisted that the single which is now released and apparently seen as 'The Single Of The Reunion' had nothing to do with Slash or Duff, and was written by Axl, Izzy and Paul fuckin' Huge.

You're just trolling now with all the 'brand new' remarks, when everybody has tried multiple times to explain in the other topic that its basically anything but 'new'.

Hour after
Ok makes sense, so first the countdown expires, official announcement, start of presale and then the single starts airing around the world probably. Think they will get some decent press.

true!
I personally think that this is a real cash grab, not the tour..
Well if its a decent remaster and some actual unreleased songs its pretty okay to me, especially the <200$ versions, depending on if the book is included.
The 650$ is a bit overloaded with unnecessary BS if you ask me. Sure, a few posters or litho's would be nice, but tattoos, picks, stickers, a cleaning cloth??!
1 minute ago, Gibbo said:It will be playing on the site as well you would think before triple m
How does the time Triple M will (approx) air the single relate to the countdown timer on gnr.fm?

Now that Shadow of your Love is essentially 100% confirmed to be the new single, what do you guys think the odds are of the band performing it in the upcoming shows? It would be a mindfuck to see it performed live after 30 odd years.
I think its safe to say they will be playing it on the upcoming shows. Not sure what we'll get tomorrow, maybe they'll even add a few North-American shows in support of this release?

My guess would be all the tracks in MP3 format.
Would they do that? That would wind up all over usenet, piratebay etc within minutes?

But 49 unreleased songs! That's so many. What are we to expect? Like 3 versions of SOYL and a few versions of Don't Cry? Or will it be 49 different songs?
I'm really curious.
Tbf i dont really need to hear 3 or 4 demo versions of songs which were too shitty to ever release 30 years ago. -
I think they might have just half-read some of the bogus articles about the gnr.fm site. Multiple sites reported it as a full reunion.
