They actually think people still get a boner when they hear that Slash and Duff are back in the band, and if they bring tour in their city they are going to run to buy those tickets.

Well, imagine they announce Belgrade or Zagreb arena show or other Euro place not included in 1st run (whole eastern and south Europe, Norway...) ...

There are lot of people who would get a boner for that :D

Not playing in champs league is going to put them up there. Chelsea will lose away to Stoke cos 3 players are injured. Same with Utd. Liverpool are overachievers with that squad. So it's City favs, with Arsenal 2nd. If they buy some more defensive players it's possible.

If they change manager could be possible, until then - just like Liverpool - Next year ...

This fucks up my fantasy plan next season. If utd are in champions league it looks like City for Prem. Chelsea will also be knackered. So City big squad might out flank them. Then there's Klopp can he harrass his players to out perform. They have extra players that could challenge.

Arsenal also if they keep theor best players, with no champs league could win prem

    City

    Arsenal

    Liverpool

    Chelsea

    Utd

everyone's on they way out, act accordingly.

Well, that's kind of what I was highlighting. They don't check very well at all, in most arenas I have been to in the UK. Only the o2 in London and at a stadium did they have any real system of checking. When you're at these places, no matter what checks have been made, you can still see situations where it would be easy for a terrorist to strike a large number of people in one go.

    Well,

if this is standard for football game security...

It seems even a lot of people who like U2, still find Bono extremely offensive, it's quite a feat really. What a strange little man.

U2 was 1st big show in Croatia after looong time back then. And it's greatest hits are ok. But that talk, talk, talk... FU, shut up and sing goddamnit! Still the worst big act show i saw just because of him...

And they are the only band that can make people whine for getting free music on their phones :)

Here in the UK, not sure about the  rest of the world, Live Nation gave away a copy of Metallica's new album with every 2017 gig ticket bought. Just sayin'.

Metallica does this for whole tour. Since album sales $$ are not that much these days it's nice gift for fans buying expensive tickets. But as someone said - to give away an album you have to record and publish it first...

So pissed with their set tonight in Uniondale. They played Harvester of Sorrow, Welcome Home, The Four Horseman, and Blackened. Two additional, different songs rather than the alternating two they were doing the three shows prior, and all four songs I would have loved to hear, especially Blackened and Welcome Home.

    :D

you really can't guess - they played 38 different songs in 23 shows during 2017.:

    Atlas, Rise!
    Battery
    Blackened
    Breadfan (Budgie cover)
    Confusion
    Creeping Death
    Dream No More
    Enter Sandman
    Fade to Black
    Fight Fire With Fire
    For Whom the Bell Tolls
    Fuel
    Halo on Fire
    Hardwired
    Harvester of Sorrow
    Hit the Lights
    King Nothing
    Master of Puppets
    Moth Into Flame
    Motorbreath
    No Remorse
    Nothing Else Matters
    Now That We're Dead
    One
    Orion
    Ride the Lightning
    Sad but True
    Seek & Destroy
    The Call of Ktulu
    The Day That Never Comes
    The Four Horsemen
    The Memory Remains
    The Unforgiven
    T.V. Eye (The Stooges cover)
    Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
    Wherever I May Roam
    Whiplash
Whiskey in the Jar ([traditional] cover)

That looks like if I dipped my Malamute mix in peroxide. Gorgeous dog.

    Yep,

Samoyeds and Malamutes are almost the same . . .

    Huskeys are similar too...

Love them all - proud and stubborn creatures :D

I see Metallica are playing the United Kingdom. How much is it for their tickets out of interest? Bet you need a second mortgage?

well, general tickets for O2 are sold out (just as are most of Euro dates) - it's original price was pretty low (for todays standards) - their original price range of £50-£85 but viagogo and other places like that are selling them for cca £200 now...

there are few tickets for Bologna - 92€ per ticket ...

Seems better deal than for a tribute band :D

Who's playing the bigger stadium crowds right now?

    khm...

"Metallica with a $9.7 million gross from a three-show stint at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium. With sellout crowds present on March 1, 3 and 5, the veteran metal band logged an overall attendance total of 197,745, the highest sold ticket count ever reported for a solo headliner at the venue, based on Boxscores reported to Billboard since 1990. The event tops Coldplay’s three-show attendance record set last year by 2,553 tickets."

  12. Well, probably no-one here ever heard about this (ok maybe few users from Croatia/Serbia/Slovenia). Was 13/14 yrs old when 1st saw them:

This is newer but probable there aren't many older recordings.

Band is called Majke (Mothers in English), and here is one of their biggest hits - "Ja sam budućnost" (I'm the future)
