If it's true that he shouted at the fans through the gates to fuck off then
Dude, I love you, but you seriously can't believe this cunt? C'mon, Axl on his knees outside screaming at fans? For fuck sake
So she made it up from thin air? She seemed reasonably level headed about it all. I doubt she made it all up, perhaps embellished the story but it's gotta have some truth to it.
I love you too by the way. Fancy comin' over?
Yes, let's cuddle and listen to the radio
But man, c'mon, the cunt is still on, and she's still attacking him. She just plain don't like Ax by the sounds of things

Still looks pretty packed from that pic

This like, can't be happening right now...
Huge thanks for posting the radio stream man, this is unreal. Waited til after 10 to see them in Glasgow and 06 and there was no fuckin problem.
And some fuckin moron called in and said the band finished at around 1am last night. Jesus Christ.
-
They're not one for calling another band a joke, you know, completley changing their style to try and get airplay?
-
Watching the Steeler game here then heading to bed, alerady past 2am. So yeah, if no one else has it by tomorrow, I'll start ripping the DVD.
-
Yeah I got it, I wouldn't expect much more from the set to pop up, especially in TV quality
-
I'll upload the DVD tomorrow

I'll post a full review tomorrow when I'm not absolutely knackered. But Guns N Roses delivered tonight, oh man did they ever! Crowd was a wee bit lukewarm to start with, but there was no tension in the atmosphere whatsoever by the end of It's So Easy and they were a joy to watch, totally in command of the audience, they loved Ron especially, and at the end the whole fiasco with being ended early, the crowd was totally on the band's side.
What a fucking night, best birthday ever .
Awesome man, seriously glad that it all worked out so well for you. Must have been a stressful few days!
-
Back to November Rain. Reckon it's just gonna be a loop of the four songs?
Think so man, though they teased footage of the "protest" so we'll see if they dare show that
-
RECORDING THIS ALL ON DVD GUYS!
So fuckin happy
-
Recording this all on DVD right now
And This I Love - FUCK ME!
SOD! Man, this coverage is so much better without the fuck nut presenters!

I was in attendance at Reading Festival last summer. Having never been I was excited to see what the English crowd was like in comparison to brilliant crowds in Scotland (who are undoubtedly the world's best and I wont hear anything against that).
On the friday night the Kings of Leon put on a brilliant show... yet I couldn't believe how static the crowd were around me. They were booing inbetween songs and standing still. The same thing took place the following night for the Arctic Monkeys. So when I read that Axl wasn't exactly welcomed by the crowd I was anything but surprised. What you've called one of the world's most respected festivals to me seemed like it was populated with pompous-know-it-all's who were so wrapped up in their self-importance that they forgot what a festival was all about: having fun.
Leeds are further north, the people are better and more fun. Plus there will be a larger Scottish contingency. If Axl wanted to come and win over Britain all he had to do was play T in the Park. Because at the very least the fans would have given him a chance.
Fuck Reading.
Amen
Seriously, Guns would fuckin kill T

I'm just saying that it is VERY childish to blame this one on GNR management on the very instant the announcement was put on the BBC website, without knowing ANY facts. Complete nonsense. They allowed the Rock Am Ring broadcasting in 2006, didn't they? They allowed all the Rock In Rio broadcasting throughout the years, didn't they? They allowed the Inland Invasion broadcasting, didn't they?
And if it really is GNR management who prohibited the broadcasting of tonight's show, I am sure they will have their damn good reasons to do so. So quit your pathetic bitching please and quit using GNR as a scapegoat for your personal frustrations, and start enjoying the updates from the MYGNRFORUM members instead.
All very good points, though to be fair Rock Am Ring wasn't broadcast until August that year

3.5 based on an unofficial time sheet (9.30-11.00).
So probably more like 4 (10pm).
Not to your hard - drive, that's why I'm using the DVD recorder for that.
I bow to your superior knowledge.
Lets hope they get the permission.
Haha
And yeah man, would suck to get the plug pulled at this stage...
-
Recording the programme will be easy.
Is it as simple to record the red button live stream?
Not to your hard - drive, that's why I'm using the DVD recorder for that.
-
Yeah, I'll have the DVD recorder set up to record anything that's broadcast tonight
-
So the best thing is to record the 10-30 show and watch live stream on interactive from 7?
Sounds like a good plan
-
I can't get the red button on sky in Ireland for the BBC3 beacause I had to tune it in as an extra channel.
So no recording or pressing the red button.
Let's pray they get shown on the highlights at 10:30. I doubt it though.
I have two sky boxes, one with a sky card where I had to tune in BBC3 and the other without a sky card, where I have BBC3 anyway. Try removing your sky card, turn off your box, turn it back on and as far as I know BBC3 will then be listed as a regular channel. I just looked up the listing and it says live coverge of Reading with Edith Bowman from the treehouse overlooking the stage: Headline Act Guns N' Roses (Warning: Strong Language)
To me it looks like they are going to be showing the concert live?
I have a feeling they'll do what they did with Bruce at Glastonbury last year. Start showing coverage an hour or so into the set so they can show highlights so far (ie. maybe skip out CD, start with Jungle, then Easy maybe skip Brownstone, etc.) and then once they've caught up, switch to live coverage for the rest of the set.
Although, in 2006, they showed all of Pearl Jam's set live, so you never know...
-
Fingers crossed on this one.
Really hope everything goes well
Gonna be a loooong night on MYGNR.
I've persuaded for all my friends to come over and watch it.
Also persuaded another 10 or so to watch it tonight. Hopefully Axl is on form to blow them away
Is it definitely on TV? yeah?
BBC3 have been advertising it this week man, so I'd imagine so. Unless they get denied when Axl arrives on site, but hopefully that won't happen B)
-
Yeah, damn that Axl! He should have cancelled the show! How dare he try and put on a show for the paying fans after what happened earlier in the week, so selfish! Man, this place sucks sometimes.

Back, I remember you
Guns N' Roses - o2 Dublin September 1st

Exactly. Axl running around the carpark screaming at the people for leaving. What a fucking moronic statement.
Guns will always be my all time favourite band, and I'm completley distraught there is no Glasgow gig this year, but if Ax decided to pack it up after all this negative bullshit, I really wouldn't blame him.
