I'll be front row pit throwing roses at my boys ??? Been waiting for this since the day I joined this forum in 2005, I was 15. 12 years later and the day is finally here I can't believe it. I might hyperventilate

"The lamest town in America" Where exactly could that be?

  2. The only real gripe I have is that there is almost zero crowd interaction. Seeing other bands like Metallica & A7X this year there was alot of banter between the singers and the crowd, and it made you feel more apart of the overall act. With Guns now it does feel almost robotic how everything is. The moves are choreographed, even the little things he says to crowd are, but it seems like as of late he is talking more, so that's a plus. But to say Axl isn't charismatic is laughable. I mean, I've never heard anyone say that atleast.

If we don't have an AFD reunion now will we ever?   And I hope that Frank/Melissa/Dizzy and Fortus are there only to watch/support/learn.  Like put em in a nice suite etc...

If they couldn't put their differences aside and make it work for the 30th anniversary I don't see it happening at all. I have doubts they'll all be alive for the 40th, better yet the 50th. I also keenly remember Adler saying he wouldn't do anything else with Guns unless Izzy was involved too. So as long as he stuck to his word and that forum member earlier is correct that he's in town, we're in for a treat. But I'm not getting my hopes up. Been down that road before.

  4. I was lucky enough to make it to the Atlanta and Houston shows last years. I thought he sounded exceptional in Atlanta and of course everyone knows by now how he magically hit that second gear and obliterated the Houston gig. Hearing the 2 shows on Youtube I still think they sound amazing but whether it was the beer/live atmosphere, I'd obviously give the edge to the sound quality when I was there. Since I was born in '96 I didn't get to see the original/UYI lineup but I always wonder, if Axl sounded that great on recorded footage from that time period, I can only imagine how it was to actually BE there.

  5. I don't think this will affect much but do you guys remember that dude's story from one of the NA tour date threads about how he was able to seemingly get backstage w/ a group of his friends without any security checking him? To the point where he could have went to each of their dressing rooms if he wanted? That can't happen again. Glad to hear the band is taking these measures.
