Wasn’t As It Began used as part of another bands song that Richard worked with?
the band has denied it

GN’R resorting to backing tracks now, what is this sorcery?!
they've been using backing tracks for years. On shackler, Sorry, Chinese democracy, etc. Since the reunion they've been using less of them, but still at use on absurd and locomotive (that I can remember). They only use for vocal layers on specific song

I convinced my sister to watch the show with me. She's not an hardcore fan, but she knows the catalog fairly well and likes Chinese democracy. I was telling her that Axl does sound all that great anymore, but that it's still a great show.
She was actually quite surprise by axl, saying that he sounded mostly great. Her only negative points were towards the crowd and she also thought that the band, especially melissa and slash, looked bored. She also wanted a longer set.
Meanwhile I was having a blast! Awesome show

The verses are on the very edge between his chest voice and his falsetto, he struggles to decide between one of the two
I think he should just go with chest voice, otherwise is so unstable and does not cut through the band.

Of course we should. Being angry after the first tour date is like my Christmas, I hope nothing ruins that.

They don't if you compared them with AFD and UYI.
Better and CD have some rasp, but Madagascar, SOD, Shackler's is minimum to none.
Wait, do you know what rasp is?
do you know what it is ?
madagascar has it in almost all the vocals, except for some of the high parts and then the lower backing vocals near the end.
It's not a matter of opinion, he's either using distortion or not.

Now this is the thread we all needed, but didn´t had the guts to start it. Bravo
I propose we discuss fonts next, I'm a Times New Roman fanatic, but I'm open to dialogue.

I think it stems down to when Axl and Daren Jay had to defend their honour against a drunk, obnoxious guy, big dude.
