Yeah I read about that in a nice lengthy article done on her two years back ... I believe going back to post-Illusions all new additions were expected to learn & know the catalog

He should worry more about the quality of their music being played at Guns N' Roses shows.

    She is so cringe worthy.

Axl's latest Twitter rant about "anti-Trump Sweet Child O Mine" takes the cake or most cringe

Oh, OK. So what you meant to say was "90% of the people who reply to him are..." not "90% of the people who follow him are..."

By "follow" I meant "on Twitter" .. not his "fan-following" lol

The tax bill benefited the wealthy while benefiting the middle class just enough to distract them from how much it was benefiting the wealthy.

I think it's fair to say that when Trump is passionate about something he's going to go off about it, on Twitter or on live TV, whether he makes sense or whether anyone wants him to do it or not. But when Charlottesville happened, he was in no hurry to comment. After days of getting heat for how he was handling it, he gave a statement condemning the Nazi's, only to basically take it all back the next day when he went on an off-scripted rant about how the Nazi's had permits to be there and there were good people on both sides. So, yes, if you want to say he condemned the Nazi's, technically that's true, but you have to take it way out of context to believe it.

And people who were in his campaign or part of his administration have been indicted. How does that NOT have anything to do with Trump?  At the very least it shows that he's not the best judge of character when he's choosing "the best people", but it's more likely that he just attracts those types of people because he himself is one of them.

Obama's been out of office 2 years and Hillary lost the election 2 years ago and he still rants about them during his rallies. He calls them, and anyone who criticizes him, enemies of the country and paints them as people trying to ruin the country, or let the dangerous immigrants come get you, etc. And when that lead to a wacko trying to blow them up in the name of Trump, he takes no responsibility for his words and instead blames the media for riling people up by reporting what he says and does. And that is what his true issue with the media is - he wants to be able to lie without being called on it.

    You are very mis-informed

I get that, but I think Trump goes beyond simple politics. It's not just music, it's sports, it's entertainment, it's family holiday dinners....Trump's divisiveness has infected the entire country.

    Obama's ***

He is claming that most of his followers are from South America and they don't speak english. In his view it doesn't make sense for Axl to post about American politics on twitter. He doesn't seem to understand that a post on twitter get everywhere. I found out about his post here. We all speak english here. I'm sure it got posted in other GN'R forums as well. And the U.S. music media sooner or later are gonna post about it. Or talk about it

The media already is talking about it - I'm not saying "Axl can't speak politics on Twitter" - Next said that! FAKE NEWS (; - What I'm saying is Axl's social media presence in the US market isn't that large so it's not really anything "special" that he's endorsing a Democratic ticket - Just another useless celebrity endorsement no one cares about & won't affect anything!

That's a super interesting statistic you posted. Any sort of facts to back that up with? No? Axl is a world wide superstar with fans all over the world and 90% of them are most definitely NOT from one country?

    OK sweet. Moving on.

I didn't actually do a scientific study, but you can just click on anyone of his tweets and you'll see 90+% of responses in Spanish & a very clear lack of understanding ... most English replies are the SA's letting Axl know they don't understand!!

I'd like to hear you pick one of those lines and tell me why its wrong. Everything he said was spot on.

We know the tax bill(for the rich) has caused the budget deficit to balloon and is expected to exceed over $1 trillion in the next couple of years.

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/deficit-projected-to-top-1-trillion-starting-next-year-1531950742

Trump has a long history of attacking people of color and immigrants. I don't need to source this. Just listen anytime he opens his fat mouth.

He did praise a Congressman for body slamming a journalist
    https://www.nytimes.com/video/us/politics/100000006170258/trump-congressman-gianforte-body-slammed-reporter.html

He refused to condemn white supremecists at the Charlottesville rally. Instead he condemned "both sides" as being the problem. Equating actual Neo Nazis with counter-protests. Classy...

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/aug/12/charlottesville-protest-trump-condemns-violence-many-sides

GOP's record on LGBT and minorities is self explanatory.

Trump has cheated on his wife with porn stars like Stormy Daniels, even during Melania's pregnancy. These are facts. He is a serial philanderer and absolutely zero respect for his wife or any women for that matter.(Never forget "Grab em by the pu$$y)

Trump praises Putin, Duterte, the Saudi Royal Thugs, and worst of all, Kim Jong Un. He even said he befriended Kim and that he loves him. That's right, he said he loves a mass murdering dictator.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/video/2018/sep/30/he-wrote-me-beautiful-letters-and-we-fell-in-love-donald-trump-on-kim-jong-un-video

He's had numerous cabinet and campaign members indicted on federal offenses. Michael Flynn, George Papadopolous, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, Rick Gates, etc

    https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/2/20/17031772/mueller-indictments-grand-jury

And he did boast about sexually assaulting women. See the Hollywood Access video.

Oh, and lets not forget how he scammed thousands of students at his Trump "University"

Well I'm sure American music magazines and rock radios websites are or will be posting Axl's tweet. Also as you can see GN'R english speaking forums are also posting. So not only none english speaking fans from around the wold are the ones reading it.

Point is 90+% of Axl's twitter followers are South American & don't even understand what his tweets mean ...

And most of the English comments I did see were in support of Republicans! haha

  6. It was just a joke relax liberals ... It's really funny how "civic" you think Rose is being by telling his million SOUTH AMERICAN NON ENGLISH SPEAKING followers to "vote blue" ... Right in line with how the Dems do it .. LOL

I suppose I should clarify that "terrible President" comment. It comes down to political leanings, of course. If you happen to think that a president who prioritizes short-term economic over long-term fiscal viability, a president who builds walls between people by attacking those that are different, a president who congratulates a politician for physically attacking a journalist, a president who refuses to condemn right-wing marches, a president who gradually roll-back on social reforms, a president who is lying and cheating, a president who go to great lengths to befriend dictators while pushing away long-time democratic allies, a president who seem to prefer corrupt and criminal associates, a president who like to boast about how he can sexually harass women, a president who creates an extremely polarized environment, a president who don't believe in science as a method or facts it produces, a president who can't properly write or talk, a president who is devoid of any recognizable human virtues, is a good president then I suppose you won't agree with me.

Everything this guy said is bullshit

  7. "Vote Blue .... Bitches" degrading women while stumping for Dems? AXL will be the next #MeToo ... except he's actually guilty

I don't really care that he's a Democrat, people are allowed to have their own beliefs, but it's kinda odd how the man who made himself who he is by being a symbol of independence & rebellion against the establishment is so vehemently against the political counterpart of that ... Donald Trump

  8. http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/slash-talks-playing-chinese-democracy-song-better-velvet-revolvers-slither-with-guns-n-roses/

Slash: We did change the intro... that was actually just some idea, something that came actually from another piece of material, and it just somehow morphed into the intro for that song because it was so cool.

What is Slash talking about? Isn't the Better intro just the rhythm part underneath the solo?

  9. The ONLY difference this time around is that now it's been a DECADE since Chinese and we aren't going to lose both our guitar players ...

Anxiously awaiting word from Mr. Rose that isn't an anti-Trump/Republican tweet ...

For the sake of being optimistic.....

three Guns N' Roses studio records have been released in the month of November: GN'R Lies (1988), The Spaghetti Incident? (1993), and Chinese Democracy (2008).

As an outsider to the band's inner workings, I have no idea if they may sneak out a new song or two as they wrap up their tour obligations in November. Still, I think there remains a possibility of something new, like an actual physical EP. I'd find it hard to believe that the band didn't at least try to compose some new material over the last two and a half years. It would be a hell of a pleasant surprise.

I don't find it hard to believe. This tour has shown me nothing other than the Big 3 cashin' in big time on a 20-30 year old catalog ...
