Would love to hear this evader mix sounds really interesting
-
Doesn’t “Seven” refer to a movie of the same title? Following the pattern “The General, Catcher, Atlas, etc.”
-
Do any guitarists know what kind of amp settings Izzy used?
-
Can someone help me find the Evader version? Have yet to hear and very interested because the cell clip isn’t helpful at all

Wow am I dreaming? Did this really leak? Was just showing my friend the 17-second leak yesterday ... wish I could hear this ...

His voice sucked when he returned in 2001, so it makes sense that his voice began to suck in the late 90's. His vocals on CD are very bad.
His “Return” era vocals are very good ... it’s a different singing style and it worked very well albiet Axl’s unusual at times “weak” performances ... As for CD his vocals on that album are at times beyond anything prior in the catalogue

How do people doubt Axl’s involvement with CD’s musical arrangement...isn’t NR proof enough of his skills?

I don't believe there's a reason I doooooooooon't beliiiiiiiiiieeeeeeve it.
Shackler's will be one of the new songs, IRS and Street of Dreams the others.
"Depends what you mean by 'new'".
Those would actually be great "new" songs for the tour ....

Glad to see all the Chinese tracks ... Still confused on Street of Dreams being left out ... would love to hear Slash soloing on that

Very few bands who put on the production GnR does change the setlist up night to night. There is a lot that goes into a show like this, with all the video production and everything else involved.
To expect guns n roses to put on the giant production they put on and do it 25 different ways is silly.
Now I will agree that playing the same setlist from 2 years ago is a bummer, but playing the same show over the course of a tour with only a few change ups here and there is more common than not. And it is such an act of entitlement to expect otherwise.
Go look at the most recent Metallica, Aerosmith or Black Sabbath tour setlists on setlist.fm for example.
and people talk about Steven being stuck in '87 lol

Bring It Back Home is one of my favorite GNR songs

Was listening to the Fred Coury remix of "Rocker" today .. I think that'd be a killer single to drop

Every song West Arkeen has writing credits on has been removed from GNR's catalogue on Spotify since last year ... very frustrating ...

I merged this with the Unofficial Social Media thread. Please do not start individual topics for things like this in the future. This could've easily been discussed here.
so sorry ...

Could Fernando’s comment about 2018 being BIGGER than NITL have ANYTHING to do with ChiDem’s 10th ANNIVERSARY being this year? Just a thought .. thoughts?

I think it may have been like a fan created name
-
Not that one .. I know there are a few but one had such a cool ass name and I can’t find any discussion in it for some reason there was even a wiki page if I recall correctly
-
I’m searching all over the internet and can’t seem to find the rumored alt name for Chinese Democracy II .. can someone help me out?
-
I think it’s really cool for Axl, AC/DC, and rock n’ roll for Axl to record with them, but seriously, it DOESN’T make sense to be seemingly taking precedence over GnR, ESPECIALLY in the middle of a reunion!!!

This. I don't know where the hell was Axl's mind when he didn't put that song on AFD.
On topic: Just Another Sunday sucks big time
I think that band decided it was too similar to Reckless Less to make an album appearance, which would come after Appetite anyways. Would have been a nice addition to Lies!

That was Del James's documentary. Perfect Crime it was called if memory serves. It was basically complete (at least a rough cut?) but then locked away in - yes, you guessed it? - the vault!!
I think there are a few bits and bobs from it on youtube. This maybe,
correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t this the documentary that Donald Trump was going to personally finance?
