IT`S TODAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
4 months counting the days and finally, it`s today!! I`m happy and excited!
Beautiful and sunny day here in Belo Horizonte, blue sky... and later... Sebastian Bach and Guns N` Roses! I`m in heaven!
Yesterday I met Helen Luna and Ali Mari and they`re so cool and funny! We went to mineirinho and we left something for the band there (just a little surprise)!
Well, I have to work now and then I`m going to realize my dream!
Have fun here guys! Lol! ROCK BH GNR!!!!
Caroline, enjoy!!!!!!!!!!! Please brings us all the info!!!! Are you going to try o sneak a camera in?
-
There's no doubt about it:
2009/2010, GNR has the absolute BEST live show of any band out there!!!!! Hail Guns N Roses!!!!
Better than Pearl Jam? hum.... If you're talking about one of those Japanese concerts with lots of bonuses.... I guess I could agree with THAT.
Yes, because I cannot seem to understand what lyrics that guy is singing. He has the pronunciation of a caveman singing with a set of gorilla testicles in his mouth.
LOL... I won't comment because I don't want to go off topic

Need more shots of DJ in the crowd, where is the official photos?
Dude, I'm pretty sure you know it, but I have to tell you: YOU ROCK

I attended the concert. It was great! But there were several problems...
First, that PREMIUM place is a total rip off. The arena map indicated a very small premium section. Truth is, is was about half of the floor. in addition, they allowed more people in than they should. Greedy bastards.
Some seats were way better than staying in the floor.
The crowd was awesome. But I fell like punching every damn smoker in their face.
The band is playing great. The setlist was nice. But I guess we do not deserve surprises as the Japs do...
I was expecting an additional encore after that incredible flag.
Axl did not speak with the audience... "Hello Brasilia" doesn't count...
MY HIGHLIGHT: DJ ASHBA. That guy is incredible. None of the other band mates connected with the audience like he did. I'm not saying that the other guys were not nice... You could see they were enjoying the concert (not sure about Axl)....
But Mr. Ashba was something else! The charisma of this man has the size of sun.

Don't tell anyone, but i'm gonna try and sneak a camera in :xmassrudolph:
SHHHH.
If they try to stop me from getting in, deaths will occur.
me too :xmassrudolph:
if I fail, no problem... I'll get back to the car, drive around the block to hide the expensive camera and come back.
I'm driving tomorrow morning from Goiania to Brasilia! Can't wait!!!
Driving around sounds rather ambitious in front of a venue with a GnR concert about to kick off
I'm coming rather late.... things should be calm at 8:30.

Two questions:
1) 9:30??? Is that the schedule time fo GNR??? Or is it for the opening band?
2) Anybody heard about this no cameras allowed crap?
Professional?
Point and shoot?
Cellphones?

Concert revenue:
let's say 100,000 people for 5 concerts in Brazil
US$150 per ticket (average)
US$15,000,000
plus all the revenue obtained with sponsors at the arenas, which usually is more than the tickets...
I would actually think that they should be making MORe money than that
-
my tickets arrived today!
-
Here's something quite confusing:
From a fan's page:
http://gunsembrasilia.com.br/local.html
From www.ticketmaster.com.br
http://207.36.181.42/imagens/mapa_padrao_ginasio_nilson_nelson.jpg
The VIP areas are quite different. I hope the www.ticketmaster.com.br map is the real one...
-
they can't take our phones... and most phones have cameras built in (mine is a N95)
so, I guess there's no point in prohibiting small cameras....
-
I just ordered 2 tickets (THE PREMIUM PLACE) for the show in Brasilia.
i hope these tickets put me in a nice spot, they were pretty expensive.
They will. The Brasilia Gymnasium is pretty small, and there are only 2,500 premium tickets, so even if you get there late and end up behind everyone, I think you'll still be in a sweet spot.
See ya there.
Don't think you'd like 'em.
NICE! 2,500 tickets isn't too much.
Do you know anything about they allowing cameras in the concert?

Check this out:
This is an OFFICIAL website created by the concert promoters.
You can see Slash everywhere in the site. Buckethead is there too....
Are these guys stupid? Are they doing it on purpose??? I hope the band doesn't see this.

Guess I'm driving to Brasilia!
hehehe
