Or none... I haven't seen any posters or commercials around here... :(

I'm only hypothetically speaking cause there's a great chance I can't even afford the tickets, let alone traveling  :D

Well big bands have tendencies to just ignore Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania(all have 1M+ cities) like we don't exist. Jebi ga. :D

So will GNR do Europe or Canada/US first?

What's the point of shipping all shit back to US/Canada from Dubai when EU is closer. So rational thinking says you Europe spring/summer and then US/Canada fall/winter but who knows nothing is rational with this band.

New album in 2017. There is no reason to wait until 2020.

Release CD2. Release album with Slash/Duff. Anything at this point.

Axl - bruh - one album of original material in the last 25 years.  Come on, man.

2017 will be whole year touring, if they aren't lazy they could drop one in 2018. Obviously Axl is holding them back because Slash want's to do record with Myles and Conspirators.

I think someone very smart planned out 5 years for these guys and they are just taking it step by step and seeing how far they can get.

The plan is to keep them making the most money and popularity high in each wave. The first wave involves committing to concert legs one at a time. This first part is easy, demand is high, money is good, the band just shows up and plays.

If they finish this first wave they can move on to the next wave, release something (LA Dodger Stadium Not in this Lifetime show) this part gives them an idea of how much of the shine has worn off, but also gives substance to this band. They get this out there and start the rumor of a new Guns album to boost sales...

Next wave is important, they start the old warm up arena leg in the US...fall or winter of 2017 obviously demand for stadium is dying off but an arena leg will be a huge success and as questions start about the nostagia of this act they start playing new music...interest begins to build that Axl and Slash have actually begun working on new material.

Towards the end of the arena leg we get the announcement that a new album will be out in the Summer of 2018, it will be a huge double album release that features 14 leftovers from CD and 14 completely new tracks...they start appearing all over news cycles for this monumental news.

Start of 2018 they go into the studio to record finishing cuts to their new album

Next is the most important part, the band starts appearing On tv performing all new material on late shows just weeks prior to their big release, they do a huge interview with Stern, and set out on a Summer stadium tour to once again take in tons and tons of money!!

Rinse and repeat...by announcing new legs all over the world!

Sorry this is GNR, with them nothing can be that easy.

    except for Axl

    never a junkie nor alcoholic

Pff shut up he was heavy cocaine user until '87.

Btw doesn't Axl still drink, smoke and party after shows?

What kind of stupid question is this? I mean who in their right mind could assume that drugs, drinking and smoking make your performance better?

Duff would not be with us today if he didn't stop drinking in '96.

Slash already died during Illusion tour :P , he has serious heart problems one bottle of whisky or line of cocaine would end his life in 30 minutes.

And Axl is in bad shape anyways he should be careful with that drinking and fucking young hoe's.

if these rumours are true, I better start saving up 'cause it's probably Barcelona for me. a bit sad that they are not considering playing in the Balkans...

These are not official and there will be shows in June and August no way they will be in Europe just for July for sure, if they don't come to Balkans there will be at least Vienna or Prague.

I'm not so sure she cares too much about Seattle.  She has perfomed the National Anthem before in other games outside Seattle. It seems to me her main goal is exposure.  This video is from a couple of years ago. I think she sounds better here than in the Seattle video

Seattle doesn't have NBA team so why she can't be Clippers fan? She was born there so pretty sure she loves her hometown.

    Why?

Lots of people are very open minded about music and have a wide variety of tastes. At one point Metallica was one of the biggest bands in the world. Their first 4-5 albums were outstanding. Why wouldn't rock fans be eager to hear new music from them?

I enjoy hearing new music from any band. You never know what you might get. It might be garbage.  But it might be awesome as well.

Anybody who enjoys music should enjoy hearing new stuff. From any band.

Did you quoted wrong person? I never said I don't want new songs, I just said because GNR are lazy on recording new stuff and tour has basically just started there is no way they will release anything until 2018.

  9. Do you know that recording proper album if you go everyday all day in studio takes 2-3 months, and we all know GNR can't do that so they need 12 months and where they can find that time?

They didn't even announced European tour yet so don't get your hope high, they will tour shit out of NITL tour. Start of 2017 is reserved for Australia,NZ and Japan, summer Europe, maybe fall for some US arena dates. No way we will hear anything new until 2018. Tour is selling great so why would they give a shit?

Nova Rock (previously discussed here) will announce a first batch of acts tomorrow (Wednesday), including a headliner. Its the first Euro festival that is taking place in (may/)june/july thats announcing a headliner. They always share lots of acts with the German Rock am Ring festival.

Pretty sure they are not allowed to announce before GNR do.

Oh yeah? Then why is YCBM consistently one of the weakest songs in a GN'R show? If he can belt out Thunderstruck and Hells Bells the way he does, YCBM should be a piece of cake.

I I think with GN'R it's more of a complacency thing, for lack of a better word. He's been singing these songs this way for years, it's basically how he's used to singing them. AC/DC was all new material, he basically had to learn how to sing it all this year. His performances on Coma support this theory too; it's one of the most challenging songs vocally in the set, but he kills it every time and it's also a recent addition, a song he hasn't done in several decades. I suspect if they added more deep cuts not played since the 90's, they would follow this trend. Hell, even in 2014 he gave his best vocals in years when they brought back Yesterdays and Prostitute.

Well pretty sure he has biggest impact on setlist so if he is bored of the songs it's his fault.
