Which is funny, because when he went into ACDC he had to sing all the songs half a step up to standard tuning (Guns tune half step low from standard)
Maybe the soundguys heard him and tried to bury him as "accidental" as possible ? lol
He even chose to sing Half a step up, Brian sang them half a step down.

mickey was over the NA AC/DC gigs it was brutal and today in berlin sounds good compared NA Tour with AC/DC i know i seen it in person 5 times and it was 10 times to many.
Perhaps a little Micky in TNT, DDDDC and LTBR. But the rest of the Bon songs he sang way better second leg. IYWB for example. Electric

Does anyone else think playing Slither totally questions the legitimacy of this GnR tour and particularly Axl, if that wasn't already the case with this 'reunion' line-up. Makes it look as if all this was fabricated for NITL. Plus it sounded dreadful. Also the stadium was empty because charging 95 is way too high for that standard of a show thats been the same for 2 years with declining quality and None of them seem to really care.

No, because he sounded Mickey before AC/DC gigs. But he sounded great with AC/DC to the end. After that Mickey came back.
Even during the GnR tour when he guested on HTH he sounded amazing

This defo isn't a official account. In fact its defiantly not. Fernando follows a different account for Stevie

Belive what you want but I will tell you how it is because this is first hand info.
I ran into Brian Johnson in LA last week, of course he was kind enough to take pics and sign autographs...
Beinf superfriendly, we got into an lengthy chat and this is what he told me.
Me: So you guys are making new record?
Brian: You must have gotten that from inernet, just like I did. We are definately, 100% NOT making new record, I have no idea where they get those rumours.
I can tell you, I belive him 100%, it wasn't one of those 'let's get him on the wrong way' type. He was VERY convincing and surprised.
Me: What do you think of semireunited GNR?
Brian: Nothing at all. I don't think anything.
My guess, maybe they are making record with Ax, but Brian sure as hell is not involved.
Also, all this 'he is not recovered'...Brian is SUPER well. In great spirits and doesn't seem as if there was anything wrong with him indeed.
Brian has nothing to do with ACDC in any capacity anymore. He left, he's gone. If you asked him 1 year before ROB he wouldn't even have known then if Angus was writing a new record for ACDC or not as he only finds out when Angus asked him to come to the studio. Angus and Brian didn't talk out of ACDC. Brian is 100 percent out of ACDC and is happy with that

People can have their opinions on the legitimacy of the lineup, however this project isn't about anyone other than Axl and Angus Imo. From what I seen not he tour you could have replaced them 3 guys and it would have still been outstanding.

Also Slade interview from last month
"Are you working on new songs with AC / DC?
If I told you that, I would have to kill you. (Laughs)" -
Chris Slade has a bit of a break April I think. Could be laying down drums then perhaps ?

All this discussion everywhere on Facebook, Twitter, forums, newspapers and so on. If any of them went to an Axl/DC, they would know . Ive said it before but them shows were out of this world. Like seeing a band at their peak having the best time. Nothing will ever compare Imo. I can't speak highly enough of Axl/DC. If it wasn't Axl rose everyone would be going nuts.

When Brian Johnson "retired" from Touring they said that recording music would be fine and his hearing has apparently improved dramatically. I am pretty sure Axl/DC won't be doing any albums. I think Brian is still technically in that band.
They didn't say that. Brian's own official statement said that. Different tone from wishing him well in his future ventures that was posted on the ACDC website

I wish sounding like mickey or "weak" was the only problem... He's out of tune, out of breath, out of rhythm. Mickey was the only problem like 15 years ago, now he doesn't even sound like a professional singer, as i said, even keeping on rhythm is a problem now, he constantly losts track of the song and starts singing on his own tempo
I agree. He looks lost on stage. Perhaps with ACDC the on stage volume is much louder and the drums are very simple. Might help him out

The whole band look bored, really bored. If the purpose of the tour wasn't already clear it is now haha . Just listened to coma...doesn't even sound like coma

He's look very nervous at first, probably it's a downside for coming stage on time.
He still human being after all.
This ! Axl looks lost as if he hasn't got any confidence because of his voice

Yeah sure Axl's voixe is shot. Its all about the effort

How can anyone say this was even half decent. I feel sorry for Axl singing GnR songs, he looks to be clearly struggling allot. Its the total opposite when he sang I feel good and HTH with Billy Joel, which imo was better than half of the times he did it with ACDC. He still has the voice but seems to totally forgot or unable to adapt to singing GnR songs at his age. They should have done RIR 16 and kicked off the tour that way. Axl needs a long rest. Unless hes just totally bored and preserving his voice , That wouldn't come as much of a shock.

Any sign of Angus yet ?

Awesome edition. Some great modern era rasp in there
Axl still has that rasp there when he wants. Crazy how he turns it on and off.

I love TSI allot after AFD its the record I play the most. I love this song and I think Guns did a great job on all of the covers. Down on the Farm should have been a regular cover

There was also a killer version of AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie, a reminder of Axl’s stint with the band last year. That’s part of the reason he’s able to do such long shows, he revealed, describing it as the “Young family boot camp. If you don’t do it right, you get the boot,” he joked.
Axl Said this before WLR the other night. Perhaps thats the reason he's so good good with ACDC is that he has someone to tell him when he's doing it wrong or not good enough. Axl wont have anyone that will tell him the real truth in GnR. So as the guns tour has progressed Axl has just gradually lost them high standards only to regain high standars when singing ACDC outside of guns.
-
I agree too. I thought that was his best performance of HTH. Has he still been practicing ACDC material haha

I know they should perhaps cut down on the covers but Rosie and The Seeker are amazing. So raw with so much energy
Where are you Axl Rose?
