. All that being said, it's a very divisive album for hardcore fans as you can see just on this thread. I think CD is more accepted by "Axl" fans as opposed to some of us who see GnR as a 5 man collaborative effort artistically.
Couldn't have put it better !

Me personally I have an issue with ,I think someone said 42 percent of the show being either covers or CD tracks. I still feel as I'm I'm seeing New GnR as oppose to a classic lineup. For example its a crime AFD songs like Out Ta get me and UYI songs like Patience are being swapped out. I get the feeling this is still very much about Axl and Slash and Duff are just part of new GnR.

hes very capable. Or his voice coach is capable of getting him to sound good on anything...just takes some effort
For me I think he is more than capable of singing whatever he wants. It looks like he is using his clean voice on purpose to to sound like that because thats the way he wants the songs to sound these days. Almost like re-branding the guns songs with this half 'New' Guns n Roses. Whereas when he is with ACDC or Singing their songs he reverts back to old classic Axl. Even on Highway to Hell the other week he was much better than most of the songs the other night.

The more dates they add the less it makes me think they will release new music. 2 round stadium tour with high ticket prices and all within a short period of time doesn't leave allot left saturated the market

Hate to break it to you but all 5 were willing from the start.
I know. It doesn't matter who's the reason behind them all not being one the tour but if they all get on stage together the the who tour has been a waste of time Imo. Allot of fans spent allot of money and have essentially been ripped off.
-
If they play a show with all 5 of AFD members I will be a little bit pissed off, because if they do ,they could have all tour. all the money fans would have spent just for the 3 when in reality it could have been all 5

All I know is if I was almost deaf in one year and seriously low in the other and I was told to get off stage or go deaf. I wouldn't go anywhere near any live music again. Raises many questions. Cool to see though without a doubt

Axl Blew our minds. I remember the feeling of the whole build up. When I was at the studio in Lisbon listening to the rehearsals the anticipation was amazing. The torrential rain and wind was madness but somehow when the band came on the clouds cleared and the rain stopped. When I heard the opening lien of rock or bust I knew we were in store for something amazing.

He obviously hangs out with the band and worked for them or still works. He also deleted the comment, if a person wants to start rumours and spew bullshit they would have no reason to remove it again and would want the post to stay up right? Just trying to think a bit logical here. Because I'm thinking he was told off to remove it or realized it by himself that he was not supposed to bring out this info to public.
#CSI:mygnr detectives report to duty
And I know Brat Buchanan is gonna read this and post up his shitty articles, just wanted you to know you're a right cock and what's wrong with the media.
I agree he perhaps got a word that he shouldn't be putting this stuff on social media. We haven't seen Axl in a while perhaps he was recording these 'Demos " haha

Very interesting thanks for looking it up. I am still on the fence how true it is, but I want to believe
I dont believe it it true but the guy is friends (that like his pictures) with musicians that have apparently worked with Slash in the past

That Andrew Treadwell is a former Photographer for Slash by the looks of it

I ll be there. Coming from vienna. Have front of stage ticket.
my husband wont be able to attend , so I have 1 Front of stage to sell for prague.
I doubt the golden circle part will be that small since its at an airfield. The golden ticket prices seemed cheap compared to others. I hope not though

We should remember that the GnR camp shut down the rumour of a joint GnR/ ACDC headline shows. No one has shut this down yet and its been round a while

the thing with Axl is the minute you think he's going to go one way he goes the opposite.
True ! That was by no means a shot at Axl

^^^^^ this
There's no doubt Angus's performances levels have slipped since he first started but he gets better the more he plays as the tour progress. He might struggle to play some of the songs he recorded in the 70's because his style has changed a little since then to adapt to growing older. 3 years for a album and tour then done. Perhaps this will be the last venture for Axl and Angus. Can't see Axl wanting to be on stage as an old man especially with his type of high intensity performance which imo he hasn't found a way to change his style to account for his age, arguably like Brian has done for the past 20 years

If ac/dc was going to finish when Brian couldn't sing anymore, Angus would have announced it when the bass player left the band after the tour. given no such announcement was made, IMO, ac/dc will continue. I believe that ac/dc generally like to tour a product, ie, release new music before they tour as opposed to gnr, who tours without any new product. So IMO, ac/dc will do a new album, and my money is on Axl singing given the success of recent tour. And someone said that the conspirators my reconvene in next 18 months, so this could be the time ac/dc drops new album. If not, dreams are free lol
This ! All points to on the last show that Angus was saying goodbye to Cliff, hence bringing him to the front. If acdc was going to end it would have been annnounced after the last show. Would have been the perfect time because everyone was just waiting to hear that news post show. Angus even did a thank you video to the fans and he made it clear it was thanks for coming to the ROB tour ! This or when Angus did the 'Angus talks about playing in acdc' would have been the time to say something.

I really hope for a new AC/DC album. Axl could record his vocal parts with mobile studios while he is on tour.
ACDC don't spend long in the studio at all. Black Ice and Rock or Bust were both recorded in 6 weeks

This isn't the most reliable source but in this article it says Axl and Angus are working on new album. First time I have seen this reported as a fact. Thought id share

I say this. Perhaps better than the studio version. I remember hearing it in person and being blown away. I had been to Lisbon so I knew what to expect but this was something else

Im presuming the Standing A area for Prague will not be as small as the other FoS areas ?

Any chance they'll draft Adler in full time ?

After seeing the new dates and GnR heading back to America it looks to me as if they are playing everywhere this tour because they know its a one off. Hope i'm wrong but it just seems they are trying to get as many dates as they can as quick as they can. No reason if they couldn't have stopped after Europe and went to record with a tour to support. Im heading to Paris to see a NITLT but its going to be hard for Axl to top what i seen in the summer. Think i'm setting myself up for disappointment from Axl if i'm honest

In terms of the Ireland show there's not a huge difference in price between GNR and Iron Maiden - only around 15 euros, in fact. Considering that Iron Maiden are only playing 3Arena, I am surprised their prices are so high - GNR are about where I would expect for a mini-festival.
Imo I would be willing to pay more for a smaller show.
A guess at the reason we are gettin so many CD tracks live

There allot of the current audience that haven't had a change to hear Patience and OTGM because they didn't buy into the New Guns. Rightly so. They have bought a ticket to see The reunion of a "classic" lineup and they want to hear the classics. Like it or not the show needs to be aimed at the causals. I bet there are many people going to the shows who don't even know what CD is and will come away very disappointed having spent allot of money not to see tunes like OTTM MM and Patience. Especially from a band that are not producing new music and are saturating the market and charging horrendous ticket prices, playing music that 20 years old even 10 if you cont CD.
