hell they could have played at someone’s wedding and gotten Izzy’s salary for 6 shows. Unless Izzy asked for a 10 figure check then there’s no excuse for him not being there. Someone dropped the ball in negotiations

Its not the same, lots of shots are different and theres footage of Axl with two girls on a limo and an Axl speech as the intro. And is all film footage, insane quality, not sd tape quality, no one ever saw 80s GNR in this quality, unless you saw GNR live back then.

Paradise City is in "1080p" now and SCOM alternate/color version and The Garden were uploaded on YT for the first time on their offical channel, "1080p" too, but all are the same sd tape footage as always, not film remastered like ISE seems to be. I wonder if ISE is the only music video remastered from film on the AFD box set, would be really weird, having glorious film footage of a unreleased video and not from the videos they did release.

But concerts are expensive as fuck these days, im pretty sure the lack of album sales is virtually irrelevant when show tickets are so much more expensive, they are probably making more money now on touring alone than touring+album sales in the past.

If only a show from that era was shot on film, maybe the Rolling Stones were kind enough to film even their opening band in those LA Coliseum 89 shows, they sure filmed their own performance.
