  1. If you're feeling good about life but want to take a serious nose dive into instant depression, turn on an episode of Hoarders. Goddamn man...what a fucking buzz kill of a show. I can't begin to comprehend how a person can succumb to becoming a prisoner of their environment like that.  The only other show in my opinion that comes close to bringing the mood way down is Intervention, another reality show gem. (Shaking my head).

  2. We're all going to have our wish lists as fans but the reality of it is that the band owes us nothing. I believe they're going to have us fans in mind for future plans but not at the expense or in spite of their own self interests. Hell, I'm simply grateful to have had a chance to see the original 3 in concert this year. I believe more is in store for us but I'm not expecting any miracles at this point.

    Hi Everyone,

Here's my detailed look at the Spaghetti Incident and I've tried to include every little tid bit i could find online about the album. Hope you guys enjoy!

Awesome video. Have you made more of these on YT? I love that you referenced all of the related videos available on YT to check out.

As with Duff, I didn't know there was a secret code on the bottom of the album. I just never noticed it.

And I did not know that Slash was no fan of Izzy's playing. I always looked at Slash and Izzy as a packaged deal and thought they complimented each other well musically, like Richards/Wood. Well damn...I guess we can all cancel Christmas on the possibility of Izzy ever coming back to the fold considering that Slash didn't like Izzy's playing and I assume playing with him as well.

I think someone very smart planned out 5 years for these guys and they are just taking it step by step and seeing how far they can get.

The plan is to keep them making the most money and popularity high in each wave. The first wave involves committing to concert legs one at a time. This first part is easy, demand is high, money is good, the band just shows up and plays.

If they finish this first wave they can move on to the next wave, release something (LA Dodger Stadium Not in this Lifetime show) this part gives them an idea of how much of the shine has worn off, but also gives substance to this band. They get this out there and start the rumor of a new Guns album to boost sales...

Next wave is important, they start the old warm up arena leg in the US...fall or winter of 2017 obviously demand for stadium is dying off but an arena leg will be a huge success and as questions start about the nostagia of this act they start playing new music...interest begins to build that Axl and Slash have actually begun working on new material.

Towards the end of the arena leg we get the announcement that a new album will be out in the Summer of 2018, it will be a huge double album release that features 14 leftovers from CD and 14 completely new tracks...they start appearing all over news cycles for this monumental news.

Start of 2018 they go into the studio to record finishing cuts to their new album

Next is the most important part, the band starts appearing On tv performing all new material on late shows just weeks prior to their big release, they do a huge interview with Stern, and set out on a Summer stadium tour to once again take in tons and tons of money!!

Rinse and repeat...by announcing new legs all over the world!

    Sounds legit.

New music would be amazing, but honestly I'm all about another US tour. I NEED to see them again, and hopefully this time I can snag much better seats lol..

I actually like listening to the Spaghetti Incident these days. It's not half as bad as people make it out to be....BUT I don't think it was the right idea to release it when they did.

I personally feel the timing was right considering that what was left of the original band imploded not too long thereafter. If they hadn't released it then, then when?

I like TSI more than a lot here. But honestly, they did suck the life out of quite a few of the covers. Raw Power and Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory for example.

I absolutely adore TSI and have since the moment I first heard it. I really dig pretty much all of the covers on it but I think I have to agree with you about Raw Power. The outro of the original has this sweet assed swing to it that GN'R couldn't capture. Otherwise, I think the majority of the song, of GN'R's version is alright.

For those that are interested , it's pretty much a live performance piece of Duff reading excerpts from the book with backing from a live band. It's interspersed with little animation portions, interviews  with family, Duff, Slash and Matt and some live/family footage. Not much GNR footage at all but an interesting performance. For those that haven't read the book it presents a pretty good "live" adaption/ visual representation of the book.

Cool. Gonna check it out sometime soon.

  8. I believe people think I'm warm and friendly when first meeting me, based on their responses. Once I get to  know someone their perception of me can range from determined to a little ditsy...generous to distrusting...weird lol. I don't really know actually. I've never bothered to ask anyone lol.

i'm from Texas and the thing that got me was the cottonwood. my dad used to have me and my brother rake it off the patio until my mom noticed after i'd do it i had horribly itchy eyes, wheezing and could barely breathe. then i moved to Sacramento and it was 10 times worse! the trees lined the river and it was so thick it looked like it had snowed. now i live in Reno and there's not a lot of cottonwood but we have this lovely stuff called rabbit brush (a kind of sage brush ) and i am not kidding, it makes cottonwood feel like a walk in the park. i take medication that doesn't help and have rubbed my eyes so hard i thought i'd damaged them. also it clogs my nose and that affects my ears and i can't hear! allergies SUCK.

Wow, you went from the frying pan in Texas to a pot in Cali, finally to a roasting pan in Nevada! I was hoping to read about some reprieve in your story but it just got worse, yikes! I've been in Texas for years now and a lot of people here are affected by allergens and I see how much discomfort it can be. Fortunately for me, I'm not one of the affected.

Fuckin a, I must be doing it wrong. When I get the flu, I puke about 20 times until my ribs are sore, and I could shit through a screen door for about 4 days.

    Yeah. Real good times...

I don't think you guys are describing the flu at all.

I came here just to read but seeing @Tiffani being attacked for her post, I am compelled to share my experience.

I experienced something almost similar to Kim K some years ago - being robbed and bound and gagged (not at gun point but at knife + machete points by 4 men) in the wee hours of the morning (4am) at my parents' home. Obviously I didn't lose 80k let alone 8mil

I went to work that morning after filing a police report and first thing I mentioned to colleagues and friends was that we were lucky nobody was raped, harmed, or killed during the intrusion. My sentiment at the time was, please take anything you want but don't harm us, especially my poor elderly parents.

And I felt thankful they did just that. And I looked at it as one of life's (unpleasant) experiences and I don't really feel traumatized by it as it's nothing compared to other horrifying events that others had experienced.

So yeah.... when I read the news... it did not leave that much impact on me as much as the news about the pregnant lady who was burned to death over a car by the 16 year old guy. Or the poor 10 year old from NM who was drugged and sexually abused and killed (on her birthday no less) and dismembered by 3 persons and one of them was her own mother who gets her kick by watching grown men raping her daughter.

Omg..I read the headline about that poor baby girl and made it through just a small portion of the story because I didn't want to read anymore. I had no idea  that girl was dismembered. Jesus Christ....smh....Now This is the kind of thing that makes my heart break. And on her 10th birthday. I have no words....poor baby girl...may she RIP...and I hope her "mother" and the rest of those scumbags get their asses handed to them in prison.

    "Today I learned"

If that's what you took from my posts today, I can do nothing about that. In reality I never said that it was "fine." In fact, within the post you quoted I wrote that I thought it was fucked up....however, far from some horrific tragedy. I simply don't feel any sense of empathy about it. That's it.

Comparing tragedy is so so so stupid.

I dunno why you think its personal. I think your comments in this thread are very very misguided, and ultimately wrong. I never said you were a bad poster, or even a bad person. Never even hinted at it. Seriously, read my comments, don't skim them.

You weren't the only one who made that same remark though, which is why I didn't pick on you individually. And your remark was wrong, it still is wrong, and you still haven't defended it logically, because you can't. I'm not offended by your being wrong, just calling it out.

No ones perfect tho. I say shit, wrong, and stupid things all the time, often even hypocritical things. I try and learn from 'em though.

Don't take it personal dude. I call 'em like I see em. Today you were in my crosshairs, tomorrow you might not be. I try not to judge.

You don't have to care about what I think, you know.

I never thought you were attacking me as a person, per se. Not Sure how I wouldn't have taken your scorn personally considering that you were quoting me almost verbatim.

Anyway, I stand by my comment. If that makes me shallow, ignorant or callous...I'll wear that hat because I don't feel any sympathy for her. If she had been raped, beaten, abducted, murdered or whatever then she would have all my sympathy, but not for this.  I mean, what am I supposed to do, force myself to fall into your line of thinking because as you imply, it is the right way to feel about this situation?

Comparing tragedies, you say? You think what happened to Kim K was a tragedy? I wasn't comparing but offering perspective because clearly, (at least to me), what happened to Kim K can hardly be classified as horrific. It was really fucked up, but "horrific?" Naw man..

And to your last point...No, I truly don't care if you or anyone else thinks I'm on the wrong side of humanity regarding poor Kim K. I don't feel any animosity towards you either just because we disagree. It is what it is..world turns...

What exactly have I typed that I need to think about and reflect on? The only remotely offensive thing I said was about tying her up and fucking her at gunpoint but I wasn't condoning it, just saying that's the first thing that popped into my mind and then I mocked myself for it.

It's not you. Apparently I'm the one who has committed the cardinal sin in this thread. Dan H and Toroymoi have both made references to my statement, "she wasn't raped or killed, she's ok." Dan has made references to that numerous times.

And I suppose I'm beyond being worth a direct response, as I quoted Dan to respond to him yet received no response in return. However he references my statement repeatedly, discusses it and then claims that I made a rape joke. It wasnt a joke. It was a fact. She wasn't physically harmed.

Idgaf though...can't please or be liked by everyone. I've got real issues going on in my life to care whether I've offended someone because I wasnt being nice to someone else who none of us even fucking know. Whatever....

And some here think what happened to her was "horrific?" Really?

I just read a news story about a pregnant woman who was found dead. She was 5 months pregnant and burned alive. The suspect, a 16 year old boy. The motive, some squabble over a goddamn Dodge Neon.

Now THAT is horrific. Give me a break about Kim K. Please...
