Ihave all the Metallica albums. They are great. I have heard like 1 Slayer song but I'll look into it.

way to go on rocks that is one of my fave albums. if you like aerosmith you should check out toys in the attic thats fantastic also.

my suggestion apart from that is def leppard - hysteria. I just love this album.

Thanks for those suggestions. Toys in the Attic would probably be a good one but are all the songs good? I know Walk this Way, Big Ten Inch Record, and Sweet Emotion are good b/c I have the O'Yeah CD. Are the others this good too? I will look into Hysteria. I have Def's greatest hits but I have never heard any of their full CD's.

if you're into the hairy rocking and rolling then the sex maniacs album up there is worth a look.

That seems a little heavy for me. The heaviest I go is Metallica and I have all of their albums.

I just listened to samples from the Fantomas CD. Doesn't sound like something I would be into. I have never heard of Jim Davidson but I will check that out. I own Forty Licks and Echoes but I will look into Exile on Main Street. The only Stones album I have is forty licks and I'm sure they have other good stuff too. Thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming.

I am about to buy a CD from Amazon. I already have Aerosmith "Rocks"in my cart as well as a book but I need to by something else so I can get free shipping (yes I am one cheap bastard). So does anyone have any suggestions? I want an overall great album like I have heard "Rocks" is. I already have all the GN'R CD's so don't bother putting those up here. I have too many other CD's to name but I'll let you know if I already have the ones you guys name.

I like them but I can't say I'm a huge fan. I don't own any of their albums but I like their hits like Jumper, Never Let You Go, and Deep Inside of You.

I like the song but don't like Poison. Bret Michaels is pretty cool but Poison isn't.

Vitalogy is great. My favorite Pearl Jam album. Everyone who doesn't have that album should go buy it now.

I love Aerosmith but I don't have that album. All I have are O'Yeah! Greatest Hits album, Get a Grip, Big Ones, Just Push Play, and Honkin' On Bobo. I have been meaning to pick up Rocks. If it's as good as most of you say it is I will get it ASAP.

Appetite for Destruction- Guns N' Roses!

I downloaded Rock in Rio III yesterday. I am trying to make a DVD of it using Sonic MyDVD Plus. The videos for RIR III are in WinRAR. When I try to add them to copy them to the DVD it tells me it is not the correct file type. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks!

I only have Ten, but I think it's WAY better than AFD.

I absolutely love PJ. They are tied with Metallica as my second favorite band. (GN'R is first) I have all of their official CD's and a few of their bootlegs. I would suggest getting the CD's in order but my personal favorite is Vitalogy.

D'yer Mak'er is meant to be a reggae parody. And very silly it is too. I hate Plant's vocals, and the reggae stylings of Jimmy's meatwhistle.

Yeah you are right it wasn't an argument. How do you hate Plant's vocals? He has excellent vocals in this song. I didn't know anything about it being a parody. I'll take your word for it though.

Me and Lumiere were arguing about this on another thread. I absolutely love this song. It's one of my favorite Led Zep songs. He on the other hand describes it as "horri"d." He also calls it a reggae so. It may have some reggae characteristics but I think this song is great. Let me know what you think of it. I want to make sure I'm not the only one that likes it. Maybe I am. If I am that's okay with me. Anyway, write back.

I wouldn't call it reggae. I do not like reggae. If you consider it reggae then go ahead but I love the song no matter what. We need to get some more opinions on this song to make sure I'm not crazy for liking this song so much. I'm going to open a thread about it.

Have a Cigar, Brain Damage / Eclipse, and Time are my personal favorites.

I don't care for them at all. The music is pretty good but I can't enjoy it over the singers annoying voice. I don't mean to offend anyone if they like his voice but personally it gets on my nerves.

I do not care for the Foo Fighters so I would say no for that one but HOTH it a definite YES! It has D'yer Mak'er on it which is probably one of my favorite (if not my favorite) Led Zep song. The rest of the album rocks as well. Get it now!

I would agree that you should go in order but personally my favorite album next to Ten is Vitalogy. It rocks! If anyone reading this doesn't have it then get it...NOW! You won't be dissappointed.

The Pink Floyd stuff is good. From them I prefer Shine On You Crazy Diamonds. The close ones that are close to 15 minutes for me would be The End and When the Musics Over by the Doors but they are only like 11 or so each. The live ones are over 15 though.

Naw dude I'm just kidding. If you like New Found Glory then good for you. Personally I can't stand the lead singer's voice. It pains me to listen to it. But if you like it then thats cool with me. I was just pulling your leg a little... you need to chill a little bit dude. Plus... I can't hate GN'R fans. We have to stick together.

Thanks everybody for your opinions. Today I got the self-titled CD. I listened to it and I like it a lot. Bach can really sing. Not as good as Axl but thats nothing to be ashamed of. It is more of the hair metal type of rock but I can handle it. After I listen to this for a while I'll probably get Slave to the Grind. Even though I made my decision I'm still open to hear what you have to say.
