Yes, lol - I'd slab in in some glass.
And to J's question to you CHB, I'd also wear it. But that's just me. -
I still haven't got mine from that night in KC...I disputed the charge on my card since they've failed to fulfill their end of the transaction and I get the run around every time I call them about it. I got this one from Lias since he had a couple from the Texas shows. Hope to see ya again soon though man!

Makes me glad I don't want a reunion.
psh, as if you wouldn't buy tickets if it were to ever happen
I have no interest in seeing a reunion. I have interest in seeing Axl, So, this would be a catch 22 for me.

You're correct Tim. I just posted that as an example, there is the more "normal" (common) version without the Japan Tour script (Axl wore at Donington '88). And thanks! HighVoltage made it eons ago for me. I've always wanted to make that image into a business card too.
XX - Yeah that one in particular has been listed at $250 for awhile, but they haven't sold for over $125ish in a couple of years. Usually they sell for around $75 - $90 as of late.
-
No. Yes. No. LOL - I just don't recall what I paid. I've seen 'em sell for under $30 and over $100. All depends on how it's listed and if it slipped through the cracks on someone or not (or if they realize what they have).

That is NOT the skull and gun...lmfao. That's the rape scene (which hasn't sold for $350-$400 in years). This would be a skull & gun; http://www.gnrontour.com/tourshirts/88japan.jpg
As for the original shirt in question as already pointed out it's a random bootlegged shirt, maybe $30.
-
I have one. Bought it maybe a year and a half ago. They pop up from time to time, usually at least ONE a year.
-
Courtney and Axl are both friends of New York Socialite Mr. Nur Kahn.
-
I'm just using a few dozen as an example. I'm sure there was probably more like 300 to 500 made.
-
I wonder how far in advance they knew they were gonna play Brooklyn Bowl before Governor's Ball if they had T-shirt designs ready...
Not much notice at all. I can confirm that. It doesn't take long to create shirts, even shorter to only create a few dozen...
-
Hmm...I do have a Large and would prefer the Medium personally. Damn, it's tempting but I think you've found the one you're after...

Black & White Axl, same photo used on the HRH residency magazines. Mine's got Dizzy, Richard n' Ron I believe. All depends who was around to sign it night of show.
-
He's a day player/day trader in the stock market. Still sends Axl gifts on birthday/holidays most of the time.

It's been known for a while that Gunner has done a few hats...

Well...if they were pressed for Bravado (official distributor), they're not really bootleg. They're more so a prototype or one-off.
I've seen both the Illusions come up for sale, and the clock. Maybe Bravado AU didn't have the licensing to mass produce, but I think (almost positive) the UYI discs were sold at Hot Topic a few years back...And plus, most things Bravado does/manufactures are "limited". -
What do you expect from a shoddy bootleg? They're about making money, not having the right eras of the band on 'em.
-
They also filmed a documentary on the UCAP tour.
-
Kid was just on the other side of me, like two people to my right.
-
Bubbles & Axl are really close and really good friends. Bubble is a helluva bartender too!

Tim I think that's from a magazine!
BS, sorry for the delay, went to Kansas. I'll post 'em up in a little bit, I don't have my cord with me at work right now.

Found the tube last night, happened to be the last one in this box of shit. Pix will come today. Rock on. One was a band collage, one was sorta like the NA and UCAP tour date poster, and two of Axl.

It's a GNR logo that was used during 01/02. Was also featured as a stage lightup backdrop thing at the 12.31.01 show, Brain's drum kit in 2002,& Dizzy can be seen wearing the black version at the VMAs in 2002. As far as I know the tank tops with that logo were only made for the band.
