Personally, I don't like it, pistols aren't centered inside the bullet. Compare the auction photo to this one of the back of T's white leather;
-
I'll post one later after I track down which tube they're in, BS.
-
Not new...from around 2007ish or so when the Amplified line was "popular" (and I use popular loosely).
-
THIS MEANS SHANNON IS ALIVE!!! CRYPTIC MESSAGES HIDDEN IN THE PHOTO THEY USED ON FACEBOOK!!!!!!!!
/end.
-
I didn't bother reading this whole thread, but the Patience outtake/demo/whatever ya wanna call it, is just a rough mix, not mastered version from the Alan Niven CD's that were released a few years back.

Axl's Cats
in 2013
The second picture is very interesting (in the link) because of the picture on the wall. It part of the alternate artwork we saw years back, which I guess means it was in fact real, as it is hanging on Axl's wall.
That's been common knowledge. Most of the artwork featured in the Guns albums are pieces that he currently or had owned. The abstract painting by Sasha (The last in the ChiDem book) can be seen hanging next to the huge cross in Axl's place.

Yes please join us on the FB group!
It's been a great tool so far for keeping us updated on each others hauls!

I have two sets of all four Euro posters. I might want to part with one complete set of four, depending on price. I'm trying to get down to Kansas and off set some out of pocket expenses.

From the June 27th, 1992 show in Turin, Italy. And yes, as it says, was a security shirt. Also was the first Italian Guns gig.
-
Wow, that shirt is one of my favs I've seen Axl wearing. Awesome you got it. If you don't mind me asking, how'd you find it and how much did you pay? Are they rare?
Same with the pin. How much? Rare? Where'd you find it?
Cheap, well cheap for what they're worth. And both were eBay. According to Axl, the Axl n' Elvis pin was created as promo in '92 for mainly shits & giggles. He was pretty stoked to see one again when I had him sign mine. Here are photos of both;
-
The shirt can be seen at the :45 second mark and on. Except mine is white, not a faded red/pinkish.
The Axl n' Elvis pin is also featured in the Live Era booklet, right next to the GNR ring. I'll post a photo whenever I get around to it... -
Why this guy having so much money is always dressing the same fucking clothes?
Better question, why does it bother you? Everyone has their favorite rags to wear
I see this crazy diamond is still shining brightly! How're things?
-
I've thought about this for a while, my favorite steals have been; my three Appetite leathers (two of which are prototypes), UYI leather, okay I'll keep it simple and say all the jackets, Guns N' Moses shirt, Versace shirt, Axl n' Elvis pin, and Street Of Dreams single. Not totally my best steals, but my favorites by far.
-
Not really related to the current topic since you're asking about the 09/10 screens, but the ballerina from the This I Love video screens used recently is Sonya Krimsky. Video was filmed on a rooftop in downtown LA.

The larger, matching set that he has one of on each hand is diamonds and Watermelon Tourmaline.I had the opportunity to check out and hold Axl's rings before, never seen these ones. That is not to say he doesn't wear these, I have just never seen em.
do you know what the stones are in the large rings?
Not an exact match Alex, thought you'd know about the onyx one as well
Laughing at whomever said "lord of the rings"
The eagle skull with the black diamonds, the onyx and diamond maltese cross, the matching set of watermelon tourmaline/diamond rings (as GG said, made in Brazil and a beautiful ring in person, loads of color to it). There's a couple others too.
-
I should have took a photo of the ring! Ha. I was so scared of dropping it at Roseland! But I still to this day can not stop talking about how awesome Handsome Dick Manitoba was that night!

I was the one who scanned this images in last week on the request of Mr. Souris.

Other amazing steals:
http://www.troccolitm.com/ShirtRareAsFuck.html - $150 if I remember correctly. A steal given the rarity
http://www.troccolitm.com/Ring.html - $1300 I believe. A steal given the gold value and the rarity/historical significance concerning GNR. Plus it comes with provenance - the bill of sale from Steven's mom to the place I bought it from!
Hah, both of those, I no sooner made a deposit into my account and then they were gone. But, I have got to see both in person and I know where they have ended up so I'm glad they're safe!
TAB - I recall the Robe! I was so pissed I missed the ending of the auction!
-
I was talking to the OP since we're FB friends and I mentioned something to him. That is all.
-
To be honest, I was tempted to make an offer of $4000 the moment it was listed...but I decided against it. Now I'm wishing I would have made an offer on the AeroGuns leather jacket from last month they listed.
Speaking of AeroGuns, who picked up that letterman's jacket from the Pacific Amphitheater? I was gonna since it was so cheap, but I figured I picked up that other black leather the day before so i better not. I'm running outta space for jackets.
-
Ugh, so tempting...so very tempting. Would be a nice addition to my signed one, but you already know my plan if I do decide to try to win this one.

Minneapolis 2006 was fan filmed, I could see the red light on the camera from across the venue.
Hiro 2012 was filmed full pro shot but there is also an incomplete audio.
Ritz 1988 Rehearsals, plus a 4 disc DVD set from MTV with various other performances and clips, including Houston '92. (owned by the same guy who has the rehearsals and who had CBGB's)
actually there is quite a bit of stuff still hoarded or whatever y'all wanna call it.
-
All fairly common stuff T - just getting too much clothing these days.
Worth the price?

Yeah I'm saying definite fake on the last two, there always seems to be a set of those awards listed at any given time...
