Maybe there still is hope if they tour again..

Is it possible it’s UMG that wants the band to release the old stuff before they’ll invest the money to put this band into the studio to record a full new album?

These old recordings are worth a lot of money when it comes to studio time. It would make sense that UMG doesn’t want it all to be thrown away.

A couple years ago they did the gnr channel to promote the Apollo show.  They play 3 or 4 guns songs then 1 or 2 songs by bands who inspired them like Queen or Aerosmith.  Live tracks and solo stuff by the band.  I listened for a month straight and it was really good.  The app is free for the month of May so anybody can check it out.  The weirdest thing was actually hearing Chinese Democracy songs pop up on the radio.

Anyone else remember when they said “Now it’s time for a deep cut” and then they played you can’t put your arms around a memory on the station. What a troll

I’m not sure why you are all so excited she said basically the same thing that Fortus and Slash have been saying for years. What makes you all think this is a straight up confirmation vs what band members have said in the past?

My only hope at this point is that this band keeps endlessly touring to build up wealth to be able to buy UMG out of their record contract and to be able to take possession of the masters to do what they please with it. Kind of like how Metallica did it.

So how do people intercept and collect these IEM signals at shows? It’s all just confusing to me on how people get their hands on this stuff

Just listened to this show on good speakers and subs and I must say, that bass drum mix is fantastic

Maybe a month ago. It was a different recording than the original iem that came out years ago. It was just slash and frank pretty much if I remember correctly
