2016/2017: traveling the world making millions on songs izzy wrote or cowrote and cutting him out over shared greed.  then axl and duff lying about it on TV.

It's no doubt a great acheivment but somehow cheapened knowing what they pulled on izzy.  

Clearly they were "dehydrated" - it's probably just "water".  The water of life... or as the Irish call it: WHISKEY!

No izzy, no Guns N' Roses.  

If izzy's not their writing then flush it in a toilet.... THEY NEEDED IZZY and will STILL need izzy to write gnr level songs, their solo albums all prove how important izzy was/is.

id take a Guns N' Roses show over any bullshit slash and duff could write with axl and his holdover employees.  

it's not impossible that slash, duff and axl could make a great new album with fortus, it's just I have no doubt the level of bullshit that comes with axl and Team Yes will get in the way, like insisting axl's CD II tracks be included to try and legitimize axl's hired "lineups".

they need to start from scratch with izzy or I don't hold much hope for the quality of music in a new record so I would rather see a guns n' roses reunion tour.  NITL tour is not a reunion, it's three members selling out izzy over money and leaving Steven/Matt out over the singers ego. 

What's worse?  sucking dick for money or having your fancy lawyers steal the gnr name for you so you can make a fake gnr album and the tour the world on a lie?  

at the end of the day it will always be axl with something in his throat that's hard to swallow.

live slash puts his rhythm chops on display on dtj before the verses.  really fun to watch.  

axl's employee lineups don't count.  They were just covering slash and izzy's parts and the enablers let them call it gnr.  

if ANYONE was to ever stand up to axl that'd be the fucking day.  he's too fragile a child to handle someone not saying yes.  hence the lost years and lost potential of our favorite band to yes employees, yes musicians, yes lawyers and yes CD fans.

slash and duff will remain silent and obedient and they will play axl solo songs to keep axl from feeling like he blew the whole thing.

i would love to see them call axl to action and steer him away from a fake ac/dc record and tour.  but axl will do whatever he wants because like always, no one will be there to say no, because I promise, wherever axl is in the world right now he's surrounded by paid employees who are saying: YES.  

I went to four shows and that was ENOUGH of this tour and set list and incomplete lineup.  I would only attend another show if there was a legitimate new record or izzy was there to play the music he wrote and I was certain I wasn't going to hear the seeker. 

i really only get bored when they go into axl's solo bullshit.  but four shows was enough, it's too predictable a set list/show. 

but it's great for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

I disagree with the premise... when is Izzy, Slash, Duff and Steven going to write THEIR "no Vaseline"?  

I don't feel weird, I just feel bad for slash and duff that they sell themselves out playing axl solo material no one wants to hear.  All while simultaneously selling izzy out over money.

I'd go see the band, but I'd respect axl for calling it a solo thing. 

I think when the tour ends slash and axl should hook up with this guy izzy and they should get into the same room, start living in the same orbit and they should write some songs that one of the best rhythm sections in rock n roll can get behind.  

that's right I said it, duff and Steven are one of the best bass/drum foundations in the history of music.   

axl should get proper management and stay away from fake ac/dc.  anything purportedly called ac/dc should be declined and axl's focus should be on rebuilding a writing  relationship with izzy. 

The one in VEGAS where axl closes his eyes and feels it.  no doubt it all felt better and more powerful with slash, his true brother/bandmate.  

I think he regrets it, I think he learned the hard way how special guns n roses really was and that you can't just hire employees and call it a band and you can't just hire people to write with and for you and get gnr level songs.  It's not how it works no matter what the lawyers tell you.  

i think CD is the document of axl's lost wilderness years.  it's a lost  record that was layered to death in the hope that each layer might hide the fact the songs were patch-jobs written by a hired group of musicians that had zero chemistry. You can't buy chemistry, you can't buy lightning in a bottle.  

I think axl and Team Yes will spend the rest of their days trying to legitimize axl's solo record as a gnr record, axl will insist on doing CD songs live forcing everyone in attendance including the band to watch him masterbate.

every time axl walks on stage and sees and hears the crowd that have turned out for three gnr members he knows the price of his ego, the price of poor management and the price of a prime lost to a solo album that back-fired immediately.  

for the record no one is rooting harder than I am for axl to get it together, make a new record/chapter and reclaim his place at the head of the class with the best front men of all time.

it's possible. And it should happen.   but then again Stephanie Seymour's nanny manages this band so who's to say... axl will probably do a fake AC/DC record instead of focus on gnr.

When you combine poor management with ego, you get the vma's with axl and his employees making a joke of a once special rock n roll band.

These are the terrible life and musical choices made.  it makes me feel bad for axl, no one cared about him, they just wanted a cut of his money and so no one ever said no to him.  No one ever said "you look like a fool trying to sell the idea you are gnr alone", no one ever said "axl your solo songs don't compare to what you were writing with your brothers".  people just said yes to keep the moody little boy happy and the money coming in, and now the consequences: lost decades, lost talent, no new art, just a money grab reunion tour where still two band members are missing and axl and slash don't even look at one another, not to mention the band is managed by a retired nanny and her son who are also paid to be axl's "family". 

the vma show was a tragedy and will always be remembered as such.  it was a set up for the disasterous years to come for axl, his employee "band", his lawyers, Team Yes and all the lies they tried to sell together.

Exactly.  they were all fucked up and everyone played a role, but then everyone got it together a long time ago, everyone except the little boy with hurt feelings: axl rose.  

calling his solo work gnr, calling his hired backing band gnr, touring the world selling people a lie, a lie enabled by lawyers and a management team lead by a nanny out for his money and his trust.  

what's real in axl's life?  axl hired his fake "band", hired his fake Brazilian "family", and hired his lawyers who then enabled him to make a fool of himself to the world.  who's in axl life that he doesnt pay for?  He even pays Del.  

I root for axl, I think underneath the ego and deep suppression axl's genius still exists, but I'm reluctant to think he'll ever be able to tap into it again without serious and committed psycho-therapy. 

otherwise, I'm afraid he'll be remembered as just another clown... just another clown in a wig.
