I heard somebody earlier in the thread mention that you make $$ from touring, not from releasing new music these days.  I would say that is still undoubtedly true, though, perhaps it was really more true, for the industry as a whole, say, a decade ago or so...For 95% of bands these days, unfortunately, I'd argue that they make no money doing either LOL.   Bands these days are pretty much doing it out of the love of doing it, because no one in their right mind would be in the industry otherwise

In any case, back to Guns, I get the life-long love, appreciation, and attachment, trust me.  I feel it.  All the same, it really is necrophilia, at this point.  They've now been touring almost just as long as NuGuns had been in existence prior to CD coming out.

Axl continues to neuter the Chin Dem era because he's forced to have the current lineup "contribute". He did that with the actual album as well. Not to mention it becomes money related as well if/when you start releasing new material.

Can one of you talented youtube video makers create a gnr hype video? Something that covers all live clips from the acoustic show @ the central, a few early club shows, all the way to the Axl n Slash hug? Then maybe a lil axl n slash beef which then leads to vegas??

my point is that he is talking about Beta and company.

I wrote a topic about Team Brazil, Yes men and the label a few weeks ago. It was moved/removed.

Its ashame but the above is the main reason why we will never have or had a re union. There was no reason for Axl and Slash to eventually get in a room and talk it out over the yrs. But when people around you feed you with bs a chance was never created.

As someone mentioned earlier...if a re union were to ever happen the finances would pretty much be spread out equally. But even more than that...the power and access to Axl diminishes because hes back with his old family/friends.

For me there hasn't been a way to make any type of reunion work regardless of money (either talk or legitimate) without jeopardizing what I feel is the well-being and best interests of nearly everyone I'm involved with in the GNR camp (including myself). People here have big investments of their lives in what we're doing. We've worked hard for what we have here now and continue to do so. I know what I went thru then. I know what I and all of us have gone thru since.

Other than the actual members of the band, who is he referring to ? And why are they in any shape, way or form taken into account in regards to re connecting with his old band.

all videos from the 2002 tour should be banned. Everytime I see and hear them it pisses me off that so many things were wrong internally and externally that they didnt get a fair shake. Axl was so motivated back then and didnt give a fuck. And he put together a lineup that is just as good as the old one. Oh what could have been....

The sooner Bumbke leave the better. Nice guy, solid guitarist but he doesnt have "it". Hes not a rock star. This is GnR . Time for him to move on. Appreciate the slide effect on better and chindem. Adios

What does he envision the next GNR album to sound like? How does he see the band evolving over the next 3-5 yrs.
