  1. REVIEW : http://torontosun.com/entertainment/music/guns-n-roses

Love this part, it's so true : "Fortus was also a powerhouse performer and he and Slash had the best chemistry on the enormous stage dominated by a large video screen on to which images (like skeletons having sex) were projected, and various sets of stairs led to an upper stage where Rose, Slash and Fortus sometimes ventured. "

    Fortus is the king! ;)

It seems that the numbers are updated...It is No 5 now.

But I still think the numbers from Japan and Thailand are not counted.. if that's true , that's additional 20 mil.

    Here you are..

They can beat the shit out of The Rolling Stones. However, it may be hard to beat U2 but who knows...

Well, this is going to turn into a Richard hate thread very quickly from here.

Only by the Izzy's hardcore mullet-head has been so called "fans" (stuck in the 80's).

The rest of the world? everybody loves Fortus, millions and millions of people who have seen the band onstage across the world agree.

Fortus is the upgrated version of Izzy : better, stronger, faster.

He is just a millions times more talented.

  4. Fortus is gonna be the big star on the next album on guitar, maybe even more than slash. The world will hear his immense talent.

He's been writing, playing and doing amazing guitar leads, rythms, riffs and solos for the last 15 years with Axl.

    Mark my words.

Paul Stanley talks about rhythm guitar, song structure and more.

Nice bits about how important the rhythm guitar player is to a band.

    Immediatelly thought about FORTUS...

Yes, I thought about Fortus too :headbang:

Absolutely phenomenal show. First Guns show I've seen since 2010 and the first time in my life I've seen Axl, Slash and Duff all together obviously with my first show being in 2001.

Scored floor seats at the 50 yard line dead center for $40 a pop which was insane, I honestly thought we got ripped off with how cheap the guy was letting em go.

Ive been on this forum for probably 10 years or so now and purposely haven't followed anything since last summer, I figured it would be 3/4 of the usual setlist and was right with that but MAN Double Talkin Jive, Yesterday's, Memory/Attitude, Used To Love Her and Coma really caught me off guard, I knew they were sort of in the rotation but wasn't expecting all of that! Black Hole Sun cover was totally unexpected and fucking awesome.

Axl sounded really strong which I was skeptical about heading into the show due to the altitude. Tons of smiles and was more engaging than I expected also.

Ive seen Slash with VR/solo a ton but holy fuck was it mind blowing to just watch him take his original GnR licks to the next level, the extended intro on DTJ was sweet and he even threw a little Slayer tease into part of the Godfather solo which I'm assuming was because they were also playing about 20 minutes down the road last night.

All in all an unbelievable show and a night I'll definitely never forget, only complaint would be the amount of casuals who barely reacted at all/sat down unless one of the "hits" was being played.. Ran past security to the front of the seats behind the pit dead center for the 5 song encore, the crowd was way better down there obviously and I tried to line myself up for the mic toss and thought I was in a good spot but Axl just gave it a small underhand toss a couple feet into the pit.

Guns N Fucking Roses though, wow.

    Dude, how was Fortus? good?
