  1. 22 seconds of hard school kick ass. First bit is same voice as the shirt clip we already heard. Old school voice and catchy riff. I don't mind the drum track. The end is what we heard already but cuts off before the line we've already heard finishes. Definitely better quality than that clip. 

     

    The version of Atlas I have is very poor quality but it honestly didn't blow me away from what I could hear. Much slower. The first 1/2 wss boring musically to my ear but it git more interesting by the 2/3 a d by the last 10 seconds I wish I could hear more. Estranged/dotf voice

    Sorry in 2010 definitely had prerecorded vocals in the chorous

  6. I got through half the album yesterday. Just finished the whole thing for the first time. Relistening to Chip Away. I listened once or twice when it first came out. Even some of the weaker songs had good moments. I didn't have to skip any tracks part way through.  

     

    I also listened to the 3 GNR songs from his showand I have to say, while it was cool to hear and awesome having them out of the vault: LISTEN TO THE SONG OR READ THE LYRICS BEFORE YOU PLAY THEM AGAIN DUFF lol he messed up a couple lines and skipped one in YATF(first song of the night so that can be forgiven).. He didn't even know the intro to Dead Horse :facepalm: he started mumbling lines and the crowf helped him out. The back up singer belted it out. The lead guitarist did a good job on the solo. I like the backing band. 

     

    Cold Outside started playing a 2nd time as I was typing this and I think it's really catchy.  Obviously not amazing but I feel like the average 3.5/5 rating is fair. I've read a few reviews.  It would appear I'm in the minority lol

    But I'm not lol a 6 year old could play the intro right.  He changes it. It's not one show it's every show.  Every recording.  He changes one of the coolest yet most amazing intros ...and I have no idea why.  For the record that is my only hate on for Frank.  Besides that I don't mind him

  9. I was 12 when I discovered GNR. Back in 2004. It took me a year or so before I discovered NuGNR, as they've been dubbed,  I remember it clearly.  Browsing youtube and found a recording of The Blues. One of my favourite songs. Front row at a slow in 2006. I'm sure you all can figure the rest out yourselves. 

      Getting to the point, 10 years after CD I'm starting to realize how the fans older than I felt over the years. I don't know if I trust the 3 of them.  Richard for obvious reasons. Slash and Duff though,  I don't know,  I don't think they have the heart to tell us it's Axl. Maybe next year we'll see something? Hopefully the band doesn't dissolve and never tour or release new music :( ( unless it's an original lineup nostalgia tour lol). Anyway.. only time will tell

    The very beginning of the song he does not do the beat right. After the 8th beat he doesn't do the timing right. He repeats the first 2 groups of 4. It doesn't sound right. Surely I can't be the only one who's noticed? 

    1 2 3 4. 1 2 3 4. 1 2 12 1234. Is the 3rd of the 4 groups that he messes up

    He clearly has a different approach to some songs from Adler/Sorum but so what? Any songs where the drums are quite specific in terms of ‘fills’ like the pre-chorus in ISE are played as they should be but if he chooses to chuck in a few in places he feels warrants it then fair doos.

    It does seem that it’s ‘cool’ to just hammer Frank on here.

    I'm sorry, have you not heard him butcher the intro to PC somehow? How tf do you mess up that intro? Why change it? It sounds wrong. 

  12. 12 years ago today I was front row at Harbour Station in Saint John, New Brunswick. I was 14 and front row. Bumblefoot waved and smilef at me when I yelled his name out during intro of SCOM and I, and everyone else in the front row, got to strum his guitar during PC... 2nd best night of my life after October 29th in Toronto last year

    J dog, Sosso is right.. you don't be disappointed! IV is my favourite followed by II. I finished January 4th( my sister's birthday). I've read Hearts in Atlantis and his newest since then. I highly recommend The Outsider. Reading Different Seasons now.. finished Shawshank and getting in to Apt Pupil
